A female pedestrian has died following a collision with a police car responding to an emergency call in Warwickshire - just 12 hours after another woman was killed by a police patrol car in London.
Police said the incident occurred at around midday on Wednesday on Coventry Road, Bedworth.
Officers gave the woman first aid until paramedics arrived. She was taken to hospital by air ambulance but later died, despite the efforts of doctors.

Assistant Chief Constable Alex Franklin-Smith said: 'Our thoughts are with the woman's family at this very difficult time.
'The incident has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) and we are co-operating fully with their investigation.'
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call Warwickshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 154 of January 23.
It happened just 12 hours after a 26-year-old Eritrean refugee died when a Metropolitan Police patrol hit her on Tuesday night.
The vehicle hit the woman, named locally as Luam Gebremariam, during an emergency call as she walked next to a main road in Walthamstow, East London, at about 11.45pm last night. It is not yet clear how fast the police car was going.

The car stopped at the scene and the officers gave the woman first aid before paramedics from London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance arrived.
Yesterday a picture of the victim was left at the crash site, along with touching tributes from staff at the YMCA where she was staying.
A 50-year-old woman, who lives just yards from the scene, said she knew the victim, who had been staying at the YMCA for about 18 months.

'The girl was crossing outside my door,' she said. 'She lived in the YMCA. The car had a huge dent in and her body was thrown all the way down the road, you can see it must have been going very fast.'
Scotland Yard detectives were working to trace her next of kin, 'who are believed to be outside the UK'. Forest Road, where the incident happened, has been closed.
One witness tweeted this morning that he had seen least five police cars and a forensic van at a junction by The Bell pub.
The woman said that she heard a banging at the door - it was her 18-year-old son, sobbing and shouting.
'My son saw it all,' she said. 'He was coming back from being out with his friend and he came running and knocked on the door.
'He was crossing the road at the same time as her, he said the policeman killed the girl.
'I asked how he knew she was dead and he said "mummy, anyone hit at that speed and thrown that far would be dead".'

And on Tuesday night, PSCO Holly Burke, 28, was killed when a Renault Scenic smashed into her Ford Fiesta in Birmingham, West Mids, at 11.30pm.
The speeding car was being chased by police after it failed to stop in the Erdington area of the city.
The crash happened in Lordswood Road, Harborne, after officers had deployed a stinger device.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
