Jay Rutland has defended his choice of using 'dirty rotten scoundrels' to caption a photograph of himself and his friend Sam Palmer, the other halves of billionaire Bernie Ecclestone's daughters.
The businessman husband of Tamara Ecclestone, 37, posted a photo of himself on Instagram with Palmer, 34, who proposed to Tamara's sister Petra over the Christmas break.
Rutland captioned the photo 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels', a reference to the 1988 Michael Caine comedy film about two conmen who compete to swindle an American heiress out of $50,000.

Jay Rutland, right, who is married to Tamara Ecclestone and Sam Palmer, who is engaged to Petra Ecclestone. Rutland has pointed out that in the movie Dirty Rotten Scoundrels the two men are conned by the wealthy woman
He came under criticism for the caption, which some considered a lapse of judgement given his and Sam's relationships with the heiress daughters of the motor-racing tycoon.
And he took exception to a piece by the Daily Mail's Alison Boshoff, defending himself in a lengthy Instagram post today.
Rutland said that his intentions have been misconstrued - pointing out that at the end of the 1988 movie it is the woman that cons the two men.
'As for dirty rotten scoundrels, great film, when I posted that picture we had just watched it with the girls and if you have seen the film then you will know that in the end the two main characters end up being conned by the woman,' he wrote.
'So maybe it’s me that needs to be careful of @TamaraEcclestone,' he joked.
He also said that money 'isn't what really matters' and that his wife and daughter's happiness is his main goal.
'My no.1 priority is that my daughter grows up to be a kind and caring human being,' Rutland said.

Jay Rutland married Tamara Ecclestone in 2014 and the couple have a 4-year-old daughter named Sophia

Cheers: Rutland reposted another snap from the 1998 movie and said his priority is not wealth but the happiness of his family
'All the shiny suits and flashy restaurants in the world will not make any difference to me if I don't manage to bring up a little girl that I can be proud of.
'And as of this moment right now, I am extremely proud.'
He posted the message alongside another snapshot from the 1988 movie, in which the two main characters portrayed by Michael Caine and Steve Martin look to be carefree as they toast towards the camera.
Link hienalouca.com Interesting to note Looking for an investor or sponsor for a project to grow dinosaurs and relict plants. Requires the sum of investments from 400000$ to 900000$. The exact amount can not say because there are many nuances. It will be necessary to build a small laboratory with certain parameters. To all interested persons please write on an email angocman@gmail.com . It is the scientific project and I do not know whether it is possible to earn on it. The probability of success of the project is approximately 60%. That will be very interesting.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
