«Breaking News» Shipwrecked fans disgusted as Liv POOS herself on the show... and then keeps on her soiled bikini

Following Monday night's anticipated return of Shipwrecked, fans slammed the E4 reboot, accusing bosses of trying to model it on hit dating show Love Island.

But any such accusation was likely muted after Tuesday evening's instalment of the series, when contestant Liv announced that she had defecated on herself, before continuing to wear her soiled bikini — much to the disgust of shocked viewers.

During the scene in question, bikini-clad Liv was shown chatting away with fellow contestant Casey, before she crudely interjected: 'I need to fart.'

She was then asked loudly passing gas, before a stunned Casey immediately enquired: 'Did you just s*** yourself?'

Apparently amused by the unsanitary moment, she laughed as she shouted to the other contestants on the beach: 'Guys, I've actually s*** myself! I s*** myself!'

Showing that he was far from impressed by Liv's declaration as she cupped her buttocks, Casey retorted: 'I don't actually know what to say. I feel quite dirty.'

The big question: She was then asked loudly passing gas, before a stunned Casey immediately enquired: 'Did you just s*** yourself?'

However, what then shocked viewers even more so was the fact that 19-year-old Liv was later seen swimming in the sea in the same bikini she had claimed to soil.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: 'So I guess Liv didn’t change the Bikini she s**t on,' while another asked: 'Did Liv just s**t herself really?'

A third enquired on the micro-blogging site: 'Did Liv actually [poo emoji]? Cos she's not changed out of that bikini...'

When Shipwrecked returned to E4 on Monday evening after a break of a decade — and a number of viewers appeared to be unimpressed with what the new format.

Within moments of the show kicking off, a social media influencer had been speed-boated onto the island, followed closely by 'a wig-maker from Chelsea who went to boarding school in Ascot' — who asked if there were staff to serve drinks.

The concurrent bone of contention among viewers appeared to be that the 'old' Shipwrecked left contestants fending for themselves, building shelter and stripped of their glam home comforts.

The current season, however, was accused of trying to emulate Love Island, making sure everyone was as glam as possible - girls allowed to wear heels and slap on make-up.

Outrage was mostly aimed at the likes of Hollie - who was a self-proclaimed influencer - and Big T - the 'posh one' - who they branded 'fake' when she waltzed in expecting to be waited on hand and foot.

Another raged: '"I'm a social media influencer" f**k off you silly p***k #Shipwrecked.'

Someone else tweeted: 'A social media influencer - this #shipwrecked is already shaping up to be hell!'

A fourth wrote: 'I’m pretty sure ‘social media influencer’ is a synonym for ‘tw@t’. #shipwrecked.'

Many slammed the show for 'trying to be Love Island', and losing the essence behind the premise of the series.

'I'm sure they didn't have their own already made camp, fire, food, electricity on the old Shipwrecked. Love Island goes camping,' someone remarked.

'#Shipwrecked seems to be channel 4’s version of Love Island!!! Pity was looking forward to it!!!' another posted.

'Really sad it’s not actually #Shipwrecked, just love island pt2!' another typed.

The return of Shipwrecked was much-anticipated by fans of the older series, which ran from 1999-2001.

It was rebooted in 2006 and re-branded Shipwrecked: Battle Of The Islands, with the format taking the islanders and splitting them into two groups. This then continued as the format until 2009.

The series then reverted to the back-to-basics theme when it returned in 2011 but it died out with Channel 4's T4 in 2012.

However, the show was tipped to return this year - and will now air every weeknight at 9PM on E4 for 15 episodes with the final episode of the series being aired on 15 February.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
