«Breaking News» Pictured - Brother and sister among three children killed in freezer

Two siblings have been identified after they were found dead trapped inside a freezer along with a third child.

Dalton, 6, and one-year-old Kayleigh were brother and sister.

The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office said the children were outside playing at a residence on 173rd Place in Suwannee County when they climbed into the freezer and became trapped.

During interviews with the adults present at the home, police found out that the freezer had just been brought to the residence but had not been plugged in or brought inside the home.

Authorities said 'for unknown reasons they climbed inside' the freezer while one adult had gone inside the home to use the bathroom.

'When the female returned to the yard, she could not locate the children so she woke up the other adult female who was at home, sleeping, preparing to work the night shift, and they began to search the property and an adjacent vacant home for the children,' a police statement reads.

Finally, the adults, who have not been identified, found the children when they opened the chest freezer.

None of them were breathing. The adults immediately administered CPR and called 911.

Upon arrival, first responders transported the children to a local hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Authorities said they inspected the freezer, which had an after-market hasp that had been installed on the lid in order to secure a padlock on it.

'It is believed at this time, that when the children entered the freezer, and the lid closed, the hasp fell shut, trapping the children inside. There was no padlock on the freezer,' police said.

The deceased siblings' children's grandmother is said to not harbor any ill feelings toward the other mother who was at the Suwannee scene at the time, according to First Coast News.

But she did share that the family is heartbroken over the children's death

A family friend who babysat the kids has established a GoFundMe for the children's funeral expenses that has so far raised more than $1,200.

'These two children had a tragic ending to their lives too soon or so we all think is too soon but we're told that God has a time for everyone,' the page stated. 'I babysat these two children I bonded with them.'

The third child has not been identified.

The investigation is still ongoing, but at this time, foul play is not suspected.

However, the case will be forwarded to the Third Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office for review.

The Florida Department of Children and Families has also been notified.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
