During the show, the money expert told viewers he had a 'bag full of tricks' to share and that the 'answers aren't often common sense'.

Mr Lewis said it was all about the date you get your renewal, as the price drops from 35 days to 21 days before rising again.

Martin Lewis' handy tips

-'It's all bout the date when you get your renewal - 21 days beforehand.

'It's not exact for everyone, but it shows how timing it can make a big difference for everyone.

'When it comes to car insurance, be the early bird who catches the worm'

- 'Adding an extra driver can cut your costs - it's especially useful for younger drivers'

- 'Tweaking your job description can change costs'

-'Car insurance paid by the month is a loan. Pay it up front, in one go'

Knowing when to purchase the insurance would in turn lead to hundreds of savings.

He explained: 'It's all bout the date when you get your renewal - 21 days beforehand.

Explaining that insurance moved in a ways that did not always follow the laws of common sense, the money expert added that another  way to ensure a cheaper car insurance policy is to add another driver.

He said: 'Adding an extra driver can cut your costs - it's especially useful for younger drivers.'

During the show Mr Lewis also said another way young drivers could reduce their car insurance was by paying the whole sum up front and tweaking their job description

By simply tweaking their job description and seeing what can cut the cost, drivers would in turn be able to reap the benefits.

He added: 'Tweaking your job description can change costs.'

Another piece of advice on offer was his insistence to pay the insurance in one go.

He added: 'Car insurance paid by the month is a loan. Pay it up front, in one go.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
