The mother a teenager involved in a crash that killed a 45-year-old woman is begging for leniency for her 14-year-old son, who she said was speeding for his life when the vehicle he was driving struck the woman's truck, and forgiveness from the family of woman who died.
Silvia Zavala was pronounced dead at the scene after her Ford F-150 pickup truck was hit in the side by an SUV being drive by a 14-year-old boy who ran a red light at around 2.20pm on January 1 in Houston.
The teen, who is said to have stolen the car keys from his family after his mother hid them, told police he was being chased by a man in a car who had waved a gun at him, after the man saw him and two friends egging cars.
'They're kids. They were doing bad things, but an adult started chasing them, and he had a gun. My son got scared and he ran,' the mother said in Spanish, as translated into English by a reporter with Click2Houston.
'He was driving fast for his life. That man is free but hey're treating my kid like he provoked the accident.'
The District Attorneys office said there is no evidence at this time that a gun was waved at the teens, but that the man still had to be interviewed and would be invited to appear before a grand jury convening to consider the felony murder charge against the teen next week.
The teen driver was booked in the county juvenile detention center on January 2.
Zavala had been out shopping on New Year's Day when her life was tragically cut short, according to KPRC.
The teenager was driving a GMC Acadia SUV when he ran the red light at 60mph, crashing into the side of Zavala's truck.
While pleading for mercy for her son, the teen's mother said, 'He's a kid. He grabbed the keys without my permission. I was at church.'

In an instant, both the SUV and the truck toppled into a nearby ditch, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Zavala was pulled out of the truck and pronounced dead at the scene.
A brand new purse, still wrapped in packaging, was found in the ditch.
The teen suffered a broken ankle and was hospitalized before being taken into custody.
One of his friends also suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital.

A third teen who had been inside the car was uninjured and interviewed by police.
That tenager told officers that the boys had been throwing eggs at others cars when a man, who drove a gold 1970s Lincoln, began to chase them.
Authorities said the man fled the scene after the crash.

The mother of the teen who was driving said her family has received death rates following the fatal crash, which remains under investigation at this time.
She's also asking for forgiveness for her son.
'I understand when you lose somebody, it hurts,' the teen driver's mother said.
'I've been through it. I'm asking for forgiveness from the family that's hurting. I really mean it. I'm a mom.'

The exact amount can not say because there are many nuances. It will be necessary to build a small laboratory with certain parameters. To all interested persons please write on an email angocman@gmail.com . It is the scientific project and I do not know whether it is possible to earn on it. The probability of success of the project is approximately 60%. That will be very interesting.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
