«Breaking News» Fleur East shares a joke with the crowd at Heaven as she performs new single Favourite Thing

She released her first new single in three years, Favourite Thing, last week.

And Fleur East looked delighted to be back on stage as she put on an energetic show for the crowd at Heaven on Saturday night, belting the tune out to fans.

The smiley former X-Factor runner-up laughed as she shared a joke with the audience between songs, taking to the spotlight in an all-white ensemble comprising of frays, feathers and fabulousness.

The I'm A Celeb star's co-ords were made up of a cropped frayed jacket which highlighted her toned midriff.

Fleur matched the quirky jacket, which also featured a feathered sleeve, with a pair of tiny belted hot pant, with studded buckle detailing.

Fleur stormed the stage in stylish chunky white lace-up boots, showing off her lean pins in the perilously-cropped shorts. 

The star wore a glamorous coat of make-up, opting for bronzey tones and a slick of gloss on her lips.

She let her mane of ringlets fall loosely around her shoulders, whispy tones of caramel and chocolate framing her delicate features.

In the run-up to the release of her song, the singer has insisted there is no bad blood between her and her former music manager Simon Cowell - admitting she's 'terrified' about unleashing the song to the world.

Simon mentored Fleur, during the 2014 season of The X Factor, in which she placed second but gained considerable notoriety with a cover of Bruno Mars' Uptown Funk, going on to release debut album, Love, Sax and Flashbacks.

High energy: Favourite Thing is a typically energetic, high-paced track and a very worthy successor to 2015's Sax

But things quietened down following this, and eventually Fleur parted ways with Simon's company Syco. She then appeared on the most recent season of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, during which time Simon appeared to make a dig at people 'going into the jungle' during one of The X Factor's recent live shows. 

Speaking to MailOnline, Fleur merely chuckled when asked about this and said: 'The music business is a harsh industry and so I have built up a bit of a wall [to remarks like that].

'But knowing Simon - he’s not malicious and I think it was light-hearted.

'I wouldn't be in this position without The X Factor. I will be forever grateful to the show and to Simon. Without all that I wouldn't have even been given the opportunity to go into jungle, so I thank him for that.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
