«Breaking News» Tennis star Sabine Lisicki disgusted after a Thai ballboy squishes a huge insect on the court

A bug intruder that evaded the court at the Thailand Open has come off second best and left a tennis star horrified.

Germany's Sabine Lisicki was taking on Spain's Garbine Muguruza in the first round in Hua Hin on Tuesday night when an insect interrupted play as it ventured onto the court.

Lisicki tried to gently nudge the intruder off the court with her racquet before a ball kid rushed in to resolve the problem quickly.

The ball kid stamped on the bug as Lisicki watched on in horror before laughing off the incident.

'Sabine Lisicki wanted a more gentle approach,' Ashish TV tweeted.

Lisicki later showed her sense of humour again when she retweeted the footage.

'At least you came out of the match better than that insect,' one follower tweeted.

Another added: 'That kid threw you off of your game once he killed the bug.

Once ranked 12th in the world, Lisicki lost the match 6-3 6-4 in straight sets to the 2017 Wimbledone champion..

'Tough match tonight! I’m disappointed in the outcome but it was a good match. Made a few bad choices on important points that make a difference in such a match,' she later posted on social media.

'Working on that! One of the best matches since my comeback. Onwards and upwards we go!'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol.
