«Breaking News» Single mother discovers her two adopted children are SIBLINGS

A single mother received a shock she never anticipated after discovering her two adopted children were actually related to each other. 

Katie Page from Colorado changed her life after her marriage ended in her early 30s. The divorce made her realize she wanted something different, so she bought a new home and changed jobs. 

One email from her local pastor further altered her life in a different direction after he inquired about Katie becoming a foster parent.

Before making her decision to enter foster care, Katie decided to attend meetings to better inform herself about the potential endeavor. 

Love to give: Katie fostered four children before deciding to take on a child, Grayson, who likely would be available for adoption

'What I heard that evening about foster care gave me chills and scared me, but it also pulled at my heart in a way I couldn't stop thinking about it,' Katie revealed in a blog post on a website entitled Love What Matters. 

She went on to foster four children before realizing she might want to adopt a child and give them a permanent home. 

In 2016, Katie received a phone call about a four-day-old baby boy who was dropped off at a local hospital. The caseworker said the child was likely a foster-to-adopt situation. 

'I immediately called her back and said "I want him! Give me five minutes and please don’t call anyone else,"' Katie wrote. 

Grayson, whom she named herself because he yet at a name, joined her household soon after. 

The next 11 months were then spent with Katie looking after the young child as caseworkers looked for the birth parents. But no one answered the newspaper ads or came back to the hospital to find the young boy. 

Cuties: Two weeks after Katie legally adopted Grayson, the mom was then offered the chance to take on a similar case for a baby girl 

Joining the family: Hannah (pictured) joined Katie's family and it was later discovered that she had the same mom as Grayson 

'Part of me was relieved that no one came forward, so that he would be mine forever with no opposition,' the new mother wrote. 'But there was always a pit in my stomach about one day having to tell my son no one showed up at his termination hearing.' 

He legally became Katie's adopted son on the day he turned 11 months old after the courts terminated his birth parents' rights. 

Less than two weeks later, Katie received another call from a caseworker about a baby girl who was dropped off at the same hospital as Grayson. 

'I could feel the fear inside me and the chills in my body,' Katie wrote. 'I was overwhelmed at the thought. Yet the feeling also told me to keep listening and to consider this placement.'

The baby girl arrived at Katie's home less than four hours later and the mom began her life juggling two children. 

'As I reviewed the bracelets on the baby girl, I saw the first name of her mother matched the name Grayson’s mother had given to the hospital,' she wrote. 

Newest edition: But Hannah is not the end to Katie's growing family. The birth mom gave birth to a second son who is now living at in Katie's home. She hopes to adopt him in 2019

Adorable: Katie said it was a miracle she discovered Hannah and Grayson were siblings. She now has prioritized keeping all three children together 

Katie then reviewed the hospital discharge papers and notice that the birth mother also had the same birth date as Grayson's birth mother. This forced her to wonder if the two children could possibly be related. 

'To give some context, Grayson is half African American with beautiful darker skin and dark curly hair,' Katie wrote. 'Baby Girl has a pale white skin tone with straight red-blonde hair. From first glance the children looked nothing alike.' 

The nagging feeling the two children could be related led Katie to contact the birth mother and meet with her. When meeting the birth mother, the woman admitted to having a boy before giving birth to a girl. 

Then the caseworker met with the birth mother and confirmed what Katie originally guessed, the two children were half-siblings. 

'What if Baby Girl had gone to another family?' Katie questioned in her blog post. 

'We would have never found her or Grayson’s mother. The connection would have never been made! I could not believe the miracle that had just happened.' 

The young girl, who Katie later named Hannah, officially joined the family in December 2018. The family-of-three took professional pictures by Ashley Chapa to celebrate being all together. 

But this isn't the end of the growing family. Katie is now hoping to adopt a third child, a boy the same birth mother recently gave birth to, in the coming months. 

'We are fostering [the young boy] with great hopes to adopt in 2019,' Katie wrote.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
