'I'm also supposed to be on our honeymoon in Barbados at the minute but we cancelled it so I could come and do this.
Adding: 'If I don't get through I'll be absolutely gutted cos this mean everything to me.'
An enthusiastic Samantha, who is still on a high from her wedding day, stands infront the judges and initially wins over head judge Simon for her dedication to the competition by skipping her honeymoon in Barbados for the opportunity to sing for them.

After delivering her song, band manager Louis cruelly tells a beaming Samantha: 'I think you should have gone on your honeymoon. I really do. It's nothing special Simon.'
Beginning to loose her sparkle, Simon adds: 'You sound nice but you look like a shop girl that's the problem.'
Determined to get through to the next round, she replies: 'OK. That's something that can be worked on.'
To which Simon, who was given the nickname Mr Nasty on the show for his cutting comments, added: 'Well it's a lot of work.'

'What am I saying?' Simon questions.
Replying the understandably downcast contestant fires back: '...that I'm overweight basically.'

'I'm going to say no because I think it's mission impossible,' Louis said plainly. 'We've had some many girls like this.'
His comment left Sharon protesting: 'Mission Impossible? Louis! Nothing is impossible. I think you have a lovely face and a lovely voice.'
Simon chimed in: 'Do you know I'm going to say yes because for the simple reason I'd like to see what this girl is willing to do because I think she's got a nice voice and I like her ambition. [It's] down to Sharon.'
Continuing to comment on her appearance, Sharon adds: 'Mrs Go On A Diet and I'll see you at the next round.'

Talent shows from yesteryear previously pulled the curtain back on how the pop industry worked then and the pressure they put on their artists' image.
During 2001's Popstars, 'nasty' Nigel Lythgoe notoriously called Kym Marsh 'fat' on camera after she returned back to Hear'Say rehearsals following Christmas.
Nigel, 69, said at the time: 'Christmas may be gone but I see the goose is still fat', before telling her to lose weight.
Kym, 42, who has since enjoyed much success as Michelle O'Connor on Coronation Street, discussed how she was left humiliated by the incident.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
