«Breaking News» Richard Madden 'hasn't even been considered for coveted James Bond role'

Speculation has been rife that he is the hot favourite to replace Daniel Craig in the James Bond film franchise. 

However, according to The Sun, executive producer Barbara Broccoli hasn't even considered Richard Madden for the role as she is 'loyal to Daniel.'

Further sources have told the publication that she feels like looking for Craig's replacement while he is in the job would be utterly 'disrespectful' and she 'cannot look past him.'

Speaking of Daniel, it has also been said that Barbara 'values everything he has done for the franchise in the past decade.'

It has also been claimed that the visionary is hopeful that Daniel will sign on for the next film as well.

As well as Richard, the likes of Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston and Tom Hardy have all been heavily rumoured to take on the role of the famous Secret Service agent. 

However, Madden has made his enthusiasm to take on the role very clear in the past few months.

Speaking to GQ, he admitted: 'I'm more than flattered to be mentioned, for people to consider putting me in that role. I'm very flattered and thankful. It's a really brilliant thing to be in.'

Refusing to rule out that he has been offered the role, he said: ' I don't want to curse anything by saying anything. I think that's the curse of that.

Richard, who admits to being a big fan of the movies and the books did give the element of doubt that he will be the next secret agent to be sipping on martini and saving lives.

He said: 'This is what happens with all these shows, like Tom Hiddleston in The Night Manager. Then there's the next one. I'm the next one.

'Everyone just loves the rumour mill on that topic. I'm just the current one. There'll be a different one next week.'

However, Daniel has previously spoken out about the gruelling role and famously said he would rather 'slash his wrists' than play Bond again.

And this was before he agreed to step into the famed 007 shoes for a fifth time, netting an eye-watering pay check for his reprisal.

The is said to be picking up £50million for his role in the next Bond film, which will be released on October, 25, 2020.

The mammoth salary beats the £37million the Hollywood hunk reportedly made for Spectre.

Speaking in 2015, when asked about returning to the role, Craig told the Guardian: 'Now? I’d rather … slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.

'I don’t know what the next step is. I’ve no idea. Not because I’m trying to be cagey. Who the f**k knows? At the moment, we’ve done it. I’m not in discussion with anybody about anything. If I did another Bond, it would only be for the money.'

In March, director Danny Boyle teased he was working on the Bond 25 script. He said: 'We are working on a script right now. And it all depends on that really.

'I am working on a Richard Curtis script at the moment. We hope to start shooting that in six or seven weeks. Then Bond would be right at the end of the year. But we are working on them both right now.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
