«Breaking News» R Kelly criminal investigation heats up in Georgia after new witnesses come forward

The criminal investigation into singer R Kelly that was first launched in 2017 by the Fulton County District Attorney is heating up after Lifetime aired a six-part docuseries about the singer's alleged victims over the weekend.

A source tells DailyMail.com that the district attorney's office is now seeking to interview a few of the women who appeared on Surviving R Kelly but had previously been unknown to investigators.

Joycelyn Savage was one of those woman, and and interview is being coordinated between her and the district attorney's office said the source.

DailyMail.com reached out to the Fulton County District Attorney's Office, who declined to comment on the matter.

The John's Creek police Department, who initially investigated Kelly and the handed over their findings to the district attorney, have not yet responded to a request for comment.

Meanwhile, the Cook County District Attorney's Office stated that it 'has not been provided with information from law enforcement regarding any alleged victims of sexual assault involving entertainer R. Kelly.'

That statement went on to note: 'Though public allegations have recently been made, victim and witness accounts, testimony, and cooperation are especially critical in moving forward with charges.'

In March of last year, Kelly forked over $25,000 to cover past due rent on one of his Georgia homes after he was served an eviction notice last month, DailyMail.com can disclose.

Kelly and SB Property Management entered into a consent order, where the company acknowledges the singer settled the unpaid rent and fees.

The 51-year-old agreed to evacuate the property and agreed that the company would not be held liable for any damages when removing his personal property from the home, according to the court documents obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com.

With the agreement, the company dropped all claims against Kelly for the past due rent and the case was promptly closed.

Kelly was hit with the eviction notice two weeks prior at the home in the Johns Creek neighborhood of Duluth, which was believed to be used as the hub of the R&B singer's alleged 'sex cult' before it was burgled in 2017.

The eviction notice, also obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, was filed on February 13 after Kelly racked up $23,084.90 in unpaid rent and $2,308.49 in late fees.

When the notice was served at the Old Homestead Trail house, no one was home and it appeared as though the property was been abandoned.

At the time, DailyMail.com contacted a spokesperson for Kelly for a comment on the eviction but did not receive a response.

Several suspicious break-ins occurred at the home and the owner is believed to be asking the court to hold the release of insurance money Kelly could receive until everything else is resolved.

Kelly rents another property in Johns Creek. He allegedly uses it to house his 'sex slaves' when he has visitors at his main home.

A third house rented by Kelly in the area was also believed to be burgled last year.

The Ignition singer has not made the money he expected to make over the past few years a source told DailyMail.com, blaming bad press after being accused of keeping a number of women in his home as members of a sex-obsessed, abusive cult.

The insider said that Kelly made $300,000 worth of renovations on the home, including turning one room into a cigar bar and another into a basketball court.

In December, Kelly said that two of his homes in Duluth had been burgled by 'an associate' while he was on tour in New Orleans.

He surveyed the damage on Instagram, revealing bare rooms and debris in a series of videos and photos.

An associate, who has been identified as Alfonso Walker, allegedly sold all the singer's items.

The record producer's maid called officials when she arrived at the home for a cleaning and saw that the property had been emptied.

A neighbor allegedly witnessed several men loading furniture and other house belongings into vans and trucks.

The front door was unlocked and there was a broken window pane on the back porch, officers reported.

Apparently Kelly's personal items, electronics and the majority of the furniture inside the houses were gone.

Another home Kelly rents in the area, on Saint Devon Crossing, was also reportedly burgled.

Authorities are investigating the missing belongings and have issued a warrant for Walker on two counts of burglary, two counts of theft by taking and at least two counts of theft by deception.

Last year, a representative for Kelly said that the singer 'unequivocally denies' having a 'sex cult' in his Georgia homes.

The representative said Kelly would 'work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and to clear his name'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
