A professional pool player has wowed his online following with an array of masterful skill shots.

Charles Lakey, from Karlskrona, South Sweden, posted a compilation video which showed an array of outrageous and intricate shots showcasing his talent.

The 51-year-old maestro has amassed tens of thousands of followers with his online videos, dazzling viewers with shots that include a ball bending around the table and swerving balls between glasses without breaking them.

Lakey, who has won bronze and silver European medals, said it can take days for him to work out some of the creative trick-shots.

He said: 'They're most often my own creations and need to adjust and correct since the reality isn't always the same as my mind.

'New skills usually take a few days to plan in my mind, then figuring out the amount of power I need or calculate and measure angles. It's a lot of geometry and mathematics.'

'After I make them I watch and see if I can spice them up or make the look better by choosing striped balls, solids and maybe some props.

It has taken Lakey years to perfect his skill shots, but that does not stop the pool player from continually trying to learn so he can better his game

'I practice at least 10 good tries first since I often use wine glasses…'

Lakey added: 'New ideas sometimes just pop up in my head. But most often I search and practice to get the maximum power and build after that along with advanced geometry solutions.

'Getting into trick shots, you first need to know the basics of setting up the classics and have the fundamentals as a regular pool player.

'The technique, stroke, a good equipment, stance, aiming etc. And the most important thing is to enjoy.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
