«Breaking News» Olivia Coleman WINS award for Best Actress in a Comedy

She already has one gong under her belt this award's season after being honoured with the Best Actress award at the Golden Globes last week.

And Olivia Colman now has another to add to the collection, following her win at the Critics' Choice Awards in the Actress in a Comedy section.

However The Favourite star, 44, was notably absent from the ceremony, which was held at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica.

As well as Olivia's award, Sunday's ceremony also saw the cast scoop the Best Ensemble Prize, but Oliva's A-list co-stars Rachel Weisz and Emma Stone were also missing.

Olivia won critical acclaim and ignited Oscar buzz for her portrayal of Queen Anne in The Favourite, ahead of the glitzy awards ceremony next month.

The flick focuses on the behind-the-scenes politics between two cousins jockeying to be court favourites during the reign of Queen Anne in the early 18th century.

Olivia Colman won Best Actress for her role in The Favourite at the Golden Globes, and now she’s been nominated for a BAFTA. Can her year get any better? Well, she’s already made it a stylish one with this stunning ensemble!

On the red carpet Olivia wowed in a classic black cape gown by Stella McCartney, which featured crystal embellished fishnet fabric at the neckline and on the sleeves. Add in some Gina shoes, a Jimmy Choo clutch bag and jewellery by David Morris, and it was utter perfection.

We love the dramatic split sleeves on this design. The mesh detailing can be found on the label's 'Naomi' dress (click right), but unfortunately for any fans of this look, it was custom made just for Olivia so isn't available to buy.

But since when would Fashion Finder let a little thing like that get in the way of a shopping spree? So with Olivia's winning awards style in mind, check out the lookalike options in our edit below. This Norma Kamali number would knock their socks off at your next black tie event!

Emma portrays Abigail Hill, a favourite of the Queen while Rachel plays Sarah Churchill, Duchess of Marlborough.

Anne, who is said to be Britain's only bisexual monarch, is depicted having an intimate relationship with Stone's character. The Favourite, directed by Yorgos, has received almost universal praise from critics.

Olivia gave one of the evening's stand out speeches at The Beverly Hilton, as she scooped the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her work on The Favourite last week.

The British actress gave a special shoutout to her co-stars including Emma whom she affectionately referred to as 'my b****es' before dropping the F-bomb.

She said: 'I'm not going to cry because my whole table will laugh at me. Thank you for the sandwiches.

'Thank you my b*tches Emma and Rachel! Every second working with you was such a joy. So much fun. I'm too excited!'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
