«Breaking News» Love Island star Malin Andersson gives birth to baby daughter Consy seven weeks early

Love Island's Malin Andersson has welcomed her first child with her partner Tom Kemp.

The 25-year-old star, who appeared on series two of the reality show in 2016, gave birth to a baby girl seven weeks early on December 23, breaking the news to her fans on New Year's Day as she revealed the infant is being cared for at Great Ormond Street hospital.

Admitting the couple are 'totally in love' with their daughter, Malin also confirmed their unusual name choice - Consy.

The brunette took to her Instragram account to share a picture of the tiny tot in the intensive care unit, holding on to her parents' hands.

She penned in the accompanying caption: 'Happy New Year..Tom and I are so happy to let you all know that our baby girl CONSY arrived in this world 23rd December 2018, seven weeks early. 

'She is so beautiful, we are totally in love with her and feel so blessed that she is here but unfortunately due to complications, she is currently being cared for at Great Ormond Street - we have received a number of messages over the past week and there has been a lot of speculation and so we wanted to share our news with you so you could hear from us first hand.

'We are so thankful for the amazing care she is receiving here and promise to update you on her progress but for the time being we hope you can all respect our privacy.

Malin was inundated with well-wishes from fans, who sent her messages of support during this difficult time as well as prayers for baby Consy.

Malin and Tom have had a rocky road to happiness - as she previously accused him of cheating on her during her pregnancy.

However, the pair were back together by her gender reveal party and have been looking more loved-up than ever of late.  

Malin had shocked fans when she took to Twitter to write: 'Lol so just found out I’ve been cheated on... Being pregnant n cheated on. Lush [sic]'.

She also shared a post detailing the traits she hoped to find in her next boyfriend.

The former air hostess revealed to The Sun in June that she is expecting a baby with the father-of-two, 27, who she began dating just ten months prior, after he came out of a nine-year relationship.

Malin soared to fame on the 2016 series of the wildly popular show, where she was heavily embroiled in the dramatic storylines, particularly after she wound up in a love triangle with Terry Walsh and Emma-Jane Woodham.

Since then she has dipped in and out of the showbiz circuit particularly after indulging in £7,000 worth of surgery last year.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
