Nabbed: LAPD on Wednesday announced the arrest of Benjamin Eitan Ackerman, 32, in connection to a series of burglaries in the Hollywood Hills between 2017-2018
Los Angeles police have arrested a man they say burglarized Hollywood Hills homes including those of celebrities after casing them while pretending to be a potential buyer or real estate agent during open houses.
Detective Jared Timmons announced on Wednesday that investigators have seized more than 2,000 items worth several million dollars allegedly taken in heists reported in 2017 and 2018.
Timmons said singers Usher, Adam Lambert, Jason Derulo, reality star Dorit Kemsley from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and actress Rebecca Hutton are among 13 victims identified so far.
The suspect was identified as 32-year-old Benjamin Eitan Ackerman, who is currently free on $1million bail.
Ackerman was taken into custody in late September 2018, but for some unexplained reason, his arrest had not been not made public until Wednesday.
According to Capt. Cory Palka, stolen items include artwork, high-end jewelry, fine wines, designer purses, clothing and shoes.

Police posted photos of recovered items online in hope of identifying other victims and returning property.
At a press conference on Wednesday, Detective Timmons said that Ackerman would show up at open houses 'dressed to the nines' and acting 'slick' while masquerading as either a real estate buyer or broker to case the properties.
Police zeroed in on Ackerman after he signed into several open houses using his middle name and made inquires about rare artwork.
Many of the homes Ackerman had visited were later burglarized and had their surveillance cameras tampered with or destroyed, according to police, who characterized the criminal enterprise as 'sophisticated.'

When LAPD officers executed a search warrant at Ackerman's Los Angeles home and a storage unit in September 2018, they came upon a trove of some 2,000 stolen items worth millions of dollars.
Jason Darulo's $3million castle-style home in Tarzana was ransacked in early September 2017, with the perpetrator reportedly getting away with $400,000 in cash and jewelry.
In March 2018, Usher had $800,000 worth of valuables stolen from his $4.2million mansion overlooking the Sunset Strip, which was on the market at the time.

The singer and his then-wife, Grace Miguel, were robbed of six watches, including one valued at $220,000, a necklace worth $200,000 and $20,000 in cash.
Ackerman has been free on bail since September 24. So far, he has not been formally charged with any crime.
Timmons said the 32-year-old suspect has 'connections' in New York and a prior criminal record. It is believed he had accomplices, but no additional arrests have been announced.

The exact amount can not say because there are many nuances. It will be necessary to build a small laboratory with certain parameters. The probability of success of the project is approximately 60%. That will be very interesting.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
