«Breaking News» Jeff Bezos to be honored at 16th Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards

Jeff Bezos will make his first public appearance at a star studded awards event Friday since news broke of his affair with TV host Lauren Sanchez.

And the billionaire Amazon boss could bring Sanchez along for what would be their first outing now that his divorce has been made public.

Bezos will be honored with a 'Freedom's Wings Award' at the 16th Annual Living Legends of Aviation Awards in Beverly Hills.

Hollywood superstars John Travolta, Harrison Ford and Kurt Russell will all attend the lavish event at the Beverly Hilton on Friday.

Grease and Saturday Night Fever star Travolta will host the bash, which will have Bezos on a front table at the famous ballroom - the stage for the Golden Globes.

Organizers handed Bezos a table with nine guest places to invite whomever he desires.

Last night the press contact for the event Patty Kovacevich confirmed that Bezos 'is absolutely definitely attending.'

She said: 'All inductees are handed tickets for their tables to be joined by guests of their own personal preferences.

'The event honors those who have made significant contributions to aviation.

'Amazon and Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos will be among the many accomplished and renowned individuals to receive awards this year.

'Living Legend of Aviation Dr Tom Enders, CEO of Airbus, will present Bezos with the Jeff Bezos Freedom's Wings Award.'

The event will also include a 'Fireside Chat with Jeff Bezos'.

'It honors Mr Bezos's advancing the principles of freedom in business and his personal endeavors. Mr Bezos will be inducted into the Living Legends of Aviation,' said Kovacevich.

One LA event photographer, who has worked at Living Legends in the past, revealed that Bezos will bring friends.

Bezos and Sanchez's affair was revealed last week, shortly after Bezos announced his split from wife MacKenzie. Sanchez herself is still married to husband Patrick Whitesell, but the two have been separated 

'As part of the night, all the big winners are given a table to celebrate their night and award with friends. It has been a Hollywood event which has enjoyed a low key status in the past, but this will change now.

'If Bezos wants to make a statement to publicly say that he is with Lauren then this could be the place to do it.'

The snapper, who asked to remain anonymous, added: 'We expect media representatives from every major outlet to be there, lined up out of the door given what has happened. At this stage he is still confirmed, but whether he will walk the red carpet or not is the big question. 

'The fact he is doing an interview on stage in the midst of this is certainly going to raise some eyebrows.'

Bezos's life was turned upside down this week when he confirmed he was divorcing his wife Mackenzie - hours before photos of him with Sanchez emerged.

Since then sexually themed texts allegedly sent by the Amazon chief to the married TV host and helicopter pilot told of his lust for her.

The world's richest man reportedly told Sanchez last May: 'I want to smell you, I want to breathe you in.

'I want to hold you tight. . . . I want to kiss your lips … I love you.'

The previous month he is said to have texted: 'I love you, alive girl. I will show you with my body, and my lips and my eyes, very soon.'

The messages are at the heart of claims that married Bezos, 55 - who is getting divorced - had a secret eight month affair with Sanchez, 49.

Explicit texts were reportedly obtained by The National Enquirer.

It has claimed Bezos whisked Sanchez to five-star hotels and exotic locations in his £50million private jet.

In June 2017 Bezos took his wife MacKenzie to the event as his guest to collect the aerospace community’s most prestigious award, the Robert J. Collier Trophy, for developing a reusable spaceship that could start taking on passengers as early as next year.

The married couple showed no signs of strain as they posed at The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City, in Virginia to pick up the trophy at the annual award dinner.

Last March the couple attended the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in Los Angeles.

The "Living Legends of Aviation Awards" are produced by the Kiddie Hawk Air Academy, a 501-c-3 non-profit organization. Kiddie Hawk's mission is to educate children and spark their interest in aviation/aerospace.

During the three hour ceremony Travolta will honor Qantas with the 'Safest, Longest Continuous Operating Airline Award.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
