«Breaking News» Dancing On Ice: Torvill and Dean think it's 'too little too late' for Gemma Collins

They've watched Gemma Collins dance on the ice... and then burst into a vicious row with judge Jason Gardiner afterwards.

And head judges Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill have hinted that they are on Jason's side when it comes to the ever-unraveling feud, suggesting that Jason's comments that Gemma isn't practicing enough is a fair point.

Appearing on This Morning On Sunday, the pair told Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes that they can't get involved emotionally and must do their jobs as judges.

Jayne Torvill certainly brought the glamour to Dancing on Ice last week in this Old Hollywood-inspired look.

Her statement gown is by Colette for Mon Cheri and features a flattering off-the shoulder neckline and fitted bodice, which beautifully falls into a fishtail hem.

'I think Gemma does have a lot of followers on social media, so she will have the support there too,' Jayne said. 'But we have to look at it as judges. [Which] is how much skating she’s doing...

'Chris and I personally felt she hadn’t put in the hours in from her first to the second week.'

Regarding Gemma's on-air spat with Jason last weekend, which saw her accuse him of 'selling stories' on her, calling him 'boring' and telling him to 'shut up', Jayne said: 'Really, I felt sorry for [presenters] Phil [Schofield] and Holly [Willoughby]. Because at what point do they have to jump in?'

Since last week, reports have emerged that Gemma and Jason might even be taking legal action against each other, but Christopher dismissed this.

'I think everyone kind of went their separate ways and let the dust settle,' Chris revealed. 'We just want her to put her money where her mouth is.'

'She needs to put her best foot forward now doesn’t she. Don’t know whether it's too little too late, but she's definitely working harder this week. We will see.'

Ruth compared the Gemma/Jason tiff to 'Billy Elliot to Rocky Balboa'.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
