The television presenter turned stage star took to Instagram earlier in the day to tell her followers she was battling the flu.
Showing off her medicines, Caroline appeared a little concerned about her ability to hold down the leading lady role in the west end production.
But despite feeling under the weather, the show appeared to go without a hitch as she shared on her page: 'Got through the show! Was ace! Lovely to see my Love Island team in the audience! Popping to the wrap party for a cup of tea and a canape.'

Caroline's stint in the West End comes as her ex-fiancé Andrew touched down in Sydney after announcing he was moving to Australia for a fresh start.
Andrew, 26, shared a slew of snaps in Sydney as he explored the city after he revealed he was moving to Oz to put his tumultuous relationship with the Love Island presenter behind him.
In one snap of the Sydney Opera House, he wrote: 'Stunning Sydney', while in another he took in the breathtaking view of the bridge.
Taking to Instagram with a lengthy letter addressed to 2018 on New Year’s Eve, Andrew confirmed he has bought a one way ticket to the other side of the world.

He also admitted the last 12-months have had a negative impact on his mental health.
He wrote: 'I have learned how much punishment the human mind, heart and body can take, I have felt guilty for things I never even considered someone should feel guilty for and I forgot who I was.
'I learned to hate myself for things that I should love. I lost my spark and my confidence.'
Accompanying the diatribe with his 'top nine' pictures of the year - none of which featured Flack - the Apprentice UK and Celebrity Big Brother star added: 'I have dragged myself out of downward spiral of 2018 and I’m jumping in to 2019 with a smile on my face and scars on my body.
'But I’m one of the lucky ones who can and I’m very excited to start a new journey, see a new country and experience a new culture and way of life. I’m going to miss my friends and family but knowing they support this means everything to me.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
