A new workout device touted to be the ‘world’s first AI robotic boxing bag’ could ensure you’re never without a sparring partner again.
And, it definitely won’t go easy on you.
At CES, SkyTechSport demonstrated BotBoxer, which uses infrared sensors and artificial intelligence to learn your technique and respond accordingly with each maneuver.
The $20,000 robotic punching bag can dip and dodge just like a human, and will always go for your weak spots to keep you on your toes.

BotBoxer went on display this week at the Sands Expo in Las Vegas, and stood out as one of the most talked-about sports products of the international tech show.
The setup is much like a mini boxing ring, and has a set of poles around its edges.
The robotic punching bag itself sits atop a moving stem and box that watches your every movement, the BotBoxer team told Dailymail.com.
‘There’s a base in front of that box, and when you stand in front of that base it actually records your foot stance,’ BotBoxer exhibitor Samuel Laponis told Dailymail.com.
‘It watches your foot stance and how you’re placing your feet, if you’re lifting your back foot off the ground, it records all of that information.

‘The four poles behind the bot box are actually poles that sense your body – those are not for design, those are actually infrared sensors watching you.’
BotBoxer combines information from four parts of your body to assess your movements, and determines its own: your hips, shoulders, elbows, and hands.
‘When it does that, it puts together a whole exoskeleton of your body an actually is recording what you’re doing,’ the BotBoxer team told Dailymail.com.
‘So, each time you use it and each hit you throw, it’s actually learning more about you and correcting to what kind of what style you are.’

‘Each time you use it, it’s going to go to your weakest point,’ he added.

It even includes data from professional fighters, including six-time world championship boxer, Christina Cruz.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
