Ben Fogle has blasted presenter Nihal Arthanayake for not inviting him on his show as their feud over Staffie dogs continues.
Earlier today Fogle posted a picture of himself at BBC Radio Five with the caption 'Yay @therealnihal @bbc5live', after arriving at the studio.
This was followed by a series of tweets from Fogle which stated that he wouldn't actually be on Arthanayake's show, but that he would be appearing on Tony Livesey's drive time show this evening, which runs between 4pm and 7pm.
Fogle said: 'Not exactly a direct right of reply but happy to be talking to @tonylivesey on 5 Live Drive this evening between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. @therealnihal @BBC5live. Fogle had previously tweeted that he would have been happy to appear on Arthanayake's show, after he said that 'staffie gate' was still making headlines.

The argument started between the pair after Arthanayake called Fogle a 'wrong 'un' live on air over a row about dangerous dogs which Fogle insisted was a case of mistaken identity.
BBC Radio Five Live host Nihal Arthanayake told his listeners Fogle harbours a grudge against Staffordshire Bull Terriers and alleged Mr Fogle had once warned his own child against Staffies in front of the radio host's family on a day out in London.
Despite Fogle having yesterday tweeted that he had 'calmed down' following the spat, he today urged Arthanayake to listen to the show this afternoon.

Earlier in the day Arthanayake tweeted: 'I always find it odd when someone accuses a radio presenter of loving the sound of their own voice. We talk for a living.'
In response Fogle said: I’m sorry you weren’t able to have me on your show. I’m sure you had more important things but glad I was able to chat to @tonylivesey on @BBC5live. You should have a listen'.
During his radio show earlier this week Arthanayake said there had been a well known TV presenter who had 'once been quite rude about my staffie in public'.
Ben Fogle (pictured above) had threatened to sue the BBC and radio host Nihal Arthanayake for an 'untrue and libellous' statement
He said: 'My wife is in Queen’s Park, right? And she’s with our kids, and our staffie.
'And this fella, has his kid, and goes up to his kid, and says: "Don't go near that dog. They’re nasty dogs. Or, they’re dangerous dogs."
'My wife is there, with our kids, and with the dog. And he says it so loudly that she can hear him saying it.
'And from that day on I’ve just been like "nah, that guy is a wrong’un’’
'I’m not going to tell you it was Ben Fogle.'
Mr Arthanayake's co-host then broke the news that Mr Fogle was due to present the ITV run-down, to which he replied: 'You’re kidding me. He was so rude.
'My wife came back to me and said, "this guy!". My wife was very upset.'
The comments the day before Fogle presented ITV's Britain's Top 100 Dogs Live 2019.
In immediate response to his comments a spokesperson for Mr Fogle said the TV presenter was 'absolutely incensed at this uncorroborated, hurtful and false allegation'.
She added: 'Apart from the fact that he has never been to Queen's Park in his life, more importantly there is not a breed of dog on this earth that he does not love.
'No-one who knows Ben would believe this absolute rubbish'.
On Twitter the TV star went further, promising legal action. In a Tweet he wrote: 'I have just been sent a recording from @TherealNihal show on @bbc5live earlier in which a caller made an untrue and libellous accusation about a fictions encounter. I have never even visited Queens Park. I will be seeking legal action. I LOVE all dogs especially Staffies #woof'

He added: 'Dear @bc5live and @TherealNihal why did you broadcast an unsubstantiated, untrue story about me without even asking? I have never even been to Queens Park. I LOVE staffies and grew up surrounded by them in my fathers veterinary surgery. Not cool.'
In a later Tweet is warned the Corporation would be 'hearing from his lawyers'.
After Mr Fogle hit back on Twitter the row deepened, with Mr Arthanayake accusing Mr Fogle of calling his wife a liar.

Arthanayake added: 'She swears it was you and in fact she came home and told me about it straight away. it was around nine years ago.
'She was incensed at the time as she was with our two very small children. Why would she lie about it being you?'
The former Castaway star replied pointing out that timeframe would have meant one of his children was just two months old and the other not yet born, adding 'Mistaken identity? I don’t know. But it WASN’T ME. I LOVE staffies mate.'
In a later tweet he added: 'I’m saying it’s a case of mistaken identity. Not all posh sounding people are me.'

This was...
It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
