«Breaking News» Trump appears in White House press briefing room to push for border wall

President Trump made a surprise appearance in the White House briefing room on Thursday afternoon to plug his border wall.

It was his first appearance behind the podium that other presidents have used for press conferences in the nearly two years since he took office.

Surrounded by border agents, some of whom also spoke, he insisted his wall was necessary for national security.

He left after roughly five minutes without taking questions from reporters, despite the fact that the gathering had been billed as a 'briefing' with White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders.

Trump congratulated Nancy Pelosi on her election as speaker in the remarks, as well, that stole attention from Capitol Hill, where a new class of lawmakers had just been inaugurated.

Democrats plan to pass legislation to reopen the government this evening in one of their first acts. The bills are all but certain to receive approval in the House of Representatives, where Democrats are now in the majority.

Trump did not comment on the bill that his White House has called a 'non-starter' in his Brady Press Briefing Room.

He said that he hoped that he and Pelosi would have a great working relationship, however, as she reprises her role as leader of the House.

'I just want to start off by congratulating Nancy Pelosi on being elected speaker of the House. It's a very, very great achievement, and hopefully we're going to work together, and we're going to get lots of things done, like infrastructure and so much more,' he said. 'I know they want to do that very badly. So do I.'

He declared: 'So hopefully we're going to have a lot of things that we can get done together, and I think it's actually going to work out. I think it will be a little bit different than a lot of people are thinking. So I congratulate Nancy. Tremendous, tremendous achievement.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
