A Texas pastor who called the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting 'sodomites' has resigned in an apology video where he admitted to drinking, gambling, having sex with prostitutes and smoking weed.
Donnie Romero posted the video on YouTube on Wednesday.
In it, he admitted to going to a casino in Jacksonville where he cheated on his wife with prostitutes 'multiple times', drank and gambled 'multiple times' and 'even smoked weed'.
'I did sins that... I went back to sins that I committed before in the past and it even caused me to commit sins that I'd never done before.
'I've completely shattered our life, my wife's life and our kids.

In 2016, Romero gave a shocking sermon at the Steadfast Baptist Church where he praised Pulse nightclub gunman Omar Mateen for killing 49 people at the gay nightclub
'I know I've hurt a lot of people. I just want to say I'm sorry... there's no excuse for what I've done,' he said.
Towards the end of the video, he said: 'I hope I can turn my life around.'
Romero, 41, made headlines in 2016 after describing the 49 victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando as 'sodomites, perverts and pedophiles'.
He praised gunman Omar Mateen for the homophobic massacre and said the earth was a 'better place' because of it in a shocking sermon at the Steadfast Baptist Church in Fort Worth.

'There are still several dozen of these c***ts in ICU. I will pray to God that God will finish the job that that man started,' he said.
Afterwards, he defended his abhorrent remarks in an interview with Fox News, saying: 'The bible teaches that they are predators and I believe that every sodomite is a pedophile and a pervert.

'I believe that in that retrospect, it is a message of hate.
'Just like if there is a building that had a bunch of rapists or evil murderous people and the building collapsed on them or something happened where they were all killed, I don't think it's something we should all mourn over because they are all evil people.'
Romero is married and has children. It is unclear if he will stay with his wife Caryn or if they will separate.
He also previously called for Connor McGregor to be struck by a lightning bolt after the former UFC boxer said: 'Jesus ain't alive is he, so I don't f****** know [if he'd beat him in a fight], maybe he can come back from the dead. I'd still whoop his a**.'
'Me and Jesus are cool. I'm cool with all the gods. Gods recognize gods.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
