«Breaking News» Texans star DeAndre Hopkins to donate entire playoff bonus check to Jazmine Barnes's family

Houston Texas wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins will donate his entire NFL Wild Card round bonus to the family of Jazmine Barnes, a seven-year-old girl who was shot to death over the weekend in Texas.

'When I see Jazmine Barnes' face, I see my own daughter,' Hopkins wrote on Twitter. 'I'm pledging my playoff check this week to help her family with funeral costs and to support @shaunking @SherriffED_HCSO @SylvesterTurner in bringing this man to justice. On Saturday, I will be playing in your honor, Jazmine.'

The Texans play the Indianapolis Colts in a wild-card game on Saturday. As recently as 2016, players on the winning team in the wild-card round received $25,000.

Hopkins' father died in a traffic accident when he was an infant and he was raised by his mother, Sabrina Greenlee, with whom he is very close. He also has a five-year-old daughter, who is often seen around the Texans. Last season Hopkins was seen giving his daughter the football after scoring a touchdown.

Authorities in Texas continue to investigate what prompted a weekend shooting that killed Barnes after activists on Wednesday claimed the incident was racially motivated.

Barnes was killed around 7am on Sunday in a car alongside her mother LaPorsha Washington and three sisters as they exited the Walmart on Wallisville Road in northeast Houston.

'We will not rest until we solve this case,' Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez told reporters on Wednesday.

'It's not easy. We need help, but I'm confident we're heading in the right direction.'

Gonzalez said during a news conference that the investigation into the death Sunday of Jazmine Barnes is focused on collecting evidence and developing leads.

A determination on motive will come later.

'We're not tone deaf to some of the concerns in our community where this could be potentially race related,' Gonzalez said, explaining that road rage could be another consideration.

But he added that he doesn't want speculation on a possible motive to limit the scope of an investigation that has one primary aim: finding the shooter.

The sheriff added that investigators are 'not ruling anything out.'

Authorities are searching for a white, bearded man who was driving a red, four-door pickup captured on surveillance video shortly before the shooting in the eastern outskirts of Houston.

Jazmine died at the scene and her mother, LaPorsha Washington, suffered a gunshot wound to the arm.

Link hienalouca.com Interesting to note Looking for an investor or sponsor for a project to grow dinosaurs and relict plants. Requires the sum of investments from 400000$ to 900000$. The exact amount can not say because there are many nuances. It will be necessary to build a small laboratory with certain parameters. To all interested persons please write on an email angocman@gmail.com . It is the scientific project and I do not know whether it is possible to earn on it. The probability of success of the project is approximately 60%. That will be very interesting.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
