«Breaking News» Strictly's Shirley Ballas, 58, 'is secretly dating toyboy panto actor, 44'

She recently gushed she found her new man during the 'best Christmas of her entire life'. 

And Shirley Ballas is reportedly dating actor Daniel Taylor, who is 14 years her junior, after the pair hit it off while working on Liverpool's Jack and The Beanstalk pantomime. 

The Strictly judge, 58, was spotted walking arm-in-arm with Daniel, 44, on a romantic date in London on Saturday, in pictures obtained by The Sun.

An onlooker told the publication: 'Shirley and Daniel looked like young lovers who didn’t have a care in the world, they seemed blissfully happy. 

While another insider added: 'Shirley is in the very early days of dating Daniel, but she is not in a relationship and he is not her boyfriend.

'Shirley has been open about being ­single for the past four-and-half years but feels ready to put herself out there again and start enjoying life.'

MailOnline has contacted Shirley's representatives for comment.

As well as being a regular on stage, Daniel has also appeared in TV shows including The Bill and Brookside.

The actor has a son from his previous relationship with actress Sharon Byatt, who starred in TV comedy Bread. 

Their day date comes after Shirley, who was married to fellow dancer Corky Ballas from 1985-2007, gushed about her new man during her interview on Lorraine.

She said last week: 'Yes I've met somebody nice. I had the best Christmas ever being in panto, and my son flew over, it was the best Christmas ever in my entire life. 

Discussing her new shoes, she said: 'My son (pro dancer Mark Ballas) and his wife bought them for me for Christmas, they represent freedom.

'He is wishing for me to have a good relationship over the age of 50.'

Shirley will switch her expertise from the dancefloor to dating as she helps a group of over 50s - three men and three women -  find love on a new This Morning segment, Matchmaker Mountain which airs every Tuesday in January. 

Hitting back at sexism, the star said her new programme gave women over 50 confidence.     

She said: 'Women over 50, they get into a routine, they don't want to go outside the box, but this programme encourages people that there is life over 50.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
