«Breaking News» Redskins owner Daniel Snyder has new $100m yacht built round a two-level 12-seater IMAX THEATER

The billionaire owner of Washington Red Skins, Dan Snyder, has traded in his measly old 225ft yacht for a new 305ft one - and it comes equipped with a world first.

For all the struggles on the field for the Redskins this season, there have been struggles off the field for its owner too: the architects behind his new $100 million boat were having difficulties finding a way to stop the engine's rumble from ruining the sound in his two-floor, 12-seat movie theater.

After much adversity though, Washington fans can breathe a collective sigh of relief - or anguish - at the news the project has been successfully completed.

And though his team are unlikely to see a Superbowl final anytime soon, Snyder can now bask in the glory of his new super-yacht - named Lady S - and its accolade of it having the world's only private floating IMAX theater on-board.

In fact the theater was so large the boat had to be 'built around it', according to the CEO of Feadship, Jan-Bart Verkuyl, who helped oversee the yacht's construction.

'He wanted an IMAX, that was his main request,' Verkuyl told the Guardian, later describing the demand as 'special and unusual'.

The theater is estimated to have cost the former marketing boss an additional $3 million, and will accompany an array of other impressive features on-board such as a helipad, four VIP suites and facilities that 'cater to a wide range of sports, including golf, basketball, volleyball and football'.

The 54-year-old, who bought the Redskins in 1999, also owns a $70 million boat called the Lady Anne. But along with his wife Tanya, the pair decided to upgrade.

At the Lady S' launch in Kaag last year, the Snyders said: 'We would like to thank Feadship director Jan-Bart Verkuyl and everyone at the yard for taking us on this amazing journey.'

The yacht will undergo a series of sea trials and final tweaks over the coming months before officially being handed over to the Snyder's in spring.

Naval architect Ed Beckett, who works for the British firm Burgess, said the inclusion of the theater made the building process 'much more complicated and expensive', because the ship had to be designed to be much quieter, so the movie experience wasn't interfered with.

'You couldn't have sound from the IMAX drifting into the cabins next door, and, more importantly, you couldn't have the sound of the engines or vibrations coming into the IMAX.

'If they did we would not get the certification from IMAX - and that was the most important thing for the owner,' he added.

Land-based installments will cost $2 million to build and come pre-loaded with more than 200 films.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
