Clad in skimpy yellow giraffe print dress, Leomie towered over NTA's host Dermot O'Leary as she prepared to present the award.
Making light of her underwhelming reception, she tried once again to get a round of applause, telling the audience 'give it up for these legs'.
The leggy model went on to announce Strictly Come Dancing had won the award, and graciously handed over the gong to Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.

Do sunshine brights in a dress like Leomie's
The National Television Awards was certainly a glamorous event with stars of the small screen all turning up in their finest for a night of celebration.
And there was even a runway star in attendance in the form of Victoria's Secret model Leomie Anderson who looked incredible as she presented an award. The audience may not have cheered for her legs but we will!
Leomie's fabulous dress is by Julien Macdonald, a favourite of the lithe of limb everywhere. We love the bright shade of yellow, the ultra short length and that sexy cut out at the waist. Not to mention the asymmetric cut sleeve.

Mixed reaction: Viewers took to Twitter in their droves following the awkward interaction, with some labelling her an 'attention-seeker', while others revealed they admired her confidence
Commenting on her quip about her lack of applause one wrote on Twitter: 'She is stunning but I think she misjudged her role and situation in asking for the applause. It's about the winners.'
Another added: 'Come on guys let's have a round of applause for these legs' umm ok #modest', while another typed: 'All time attention seeking from @Leomie_Anderson wanting cheers for her legs on #NTAAwards cos nobody cheered as she walked on stage. Sad she needs the adoration!'
'Asking for a round of her applause for her legs... bit strange?' a fourth viewer chimed.
However others applauded her for her confidence with one fan typing: 'Leomie Anderson and her legs!!', 'Where can I get the confidence of Leomie Anderson', another wrote.

The National Television Awards marked one of the most exciting nights in British TV, with faces from reality, scripted drama and comedy, soaps and quiz shows hoping to scoop a gong.
The annual Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award, perhaps the most prestigious accolade of the evening, saw Love Island, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, All Round To Mrs Brown's and The Graham Norton Show lose to reality TV juggernaut I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
2019's shortlist saw the likes of Killing Eve, Bodyguard and The Cry battle it out as some of the most talked-about new shows of the past 12 months.
ITV stole the show in the Daytime category, with This Morning winning for the ninth time after beating network companions Good Morning Britain, Loose Women, and The Jeremy Kyle Show to the accolade, as well as Channel 4 show Sunday Brunch.
The awards, which were the most exciting and closely-fought yet, handed over power to the viewers, who have been voting since October.
Working it: She paired the look with black perspex heels and wore her raven tresses up in a high bun

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
