«Breaking News» Louis Vuitton unveils a $2,400 JENGA set

Louis Vuitton has taken a beloved childhood game and turned it into a must-have accessory with a designer price tag to match.

The high-end fashion label set social media alight earlier this month when it was revealed that its designers had created a chic new version of Jenga, with the Louis Vuitton version coming complete with blue and red acrylic blocks that are each engraved with the brand's signature logo and monogram.

Thus far no other details about the game have been revealed - other than its rumored $2,400 price tag - and only one photo of the Louis Vuitton Jenga has been made available, shared on Instagram by fashion fan account @dlouisvdotcom.

But despite the lack of detail about the game, fashion fans have gone wild over the prospect of owning such a chic version of the childhood classic, with hundreds of people commenting on the photo to express their excitement over it.

At first glance, the LV Jenga pictured in the sneak peek image looks not entirely unlike the beloved original, with a few differences of course.

In place of a traditional cardboard box, the pieces are stacked in a clear acrylic carry case, that is complete with a leather strap at the top.

The blocks themselves are also colored - red and blue - unlike the wooden options most frequently used in the children's game.

And then of course, there is the price tag.

A typical Jenga set consists of 54 wooden blocks and costs $8.74 on sale from Target, regularly $12.99, but shoppers don't seem concerned about the $2,387 price difference.

'OMG.. I WANT. Where can I find one please?' one Instagram user wrote.

'Wow when is this releasing,' commented another.

Louis Vuitton presented its Fall/Winter 19 menswear show at Paris Fashion Week earlier this month.

Aptly called 'Infancy, Childhood, and Adolescence,' the collection showed a number of throwback accessories reminiscent of childhood items, each with high price tags.

The runway show featured items like glow-in-the-dark luggage, light-up sneakers and oversized backpacks.

A pair of sneakers from Louis Vuitton typically cost at least $1,000, and a backpack sells for around $2,000.

The Jenga set didn't make the final cut into the runway show, but it was spotted backstage after the show and Instagram account @dlouisvdotcom shared an image for the world to see this Jenga set.

The fan Instagram account works to find images and information about all Louis Vuitton products and news updates.

It also documented a few more outrageous Louis Vuitton accessories following the runway show, like a fiber optic color-changing keepall bag, monogram-embroidered face masks and a belt with multiple bags hanging from it.

The color changing keepall bag changes from purple, red, pink, orange, yellow, green to blue.

'Wonder how it works. Are we on a be plugging our keepalls into the power socket in 2019?'  @dlouisvdotcom wrote on its post.

The account estimates the bag would retail for over $57,000.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
