Little Mix star Jesy Nelson has been slammed by furious fans online, after she shared an Instagram video of herself dancing to one of R Kelly's hits on Saturday night.
With talk of 52-year-old Kelly's alleged abuse of women, some of whom were said to be underage, at fever pitch, Jesy, 27, took to her Instagram account to post a clip of herself enjoying a cover version of his 2003 hit Ignition during a night out in London.
In the brief clip, which was one of many from the night, the Touch singer is heard identifying the song and the artist as she angles her camera at herself and her pals while lapping up the live entertainment at Covent Garden hotspot Bunga Bunga.

But fans reacted angrily, taking to Twitter to voice their disapproval of the timing of the playful video, which was posted just days after the six-part documentary Surviving R Kelly pushed allegations against the star back into the spotlight.
'Jesy Nelson trending for all the wrong reasons,' wrote one fan of the Essex native. 'I’ve always been behind and defended her against trolls, I’m done...'
Stated another: 'Jesy Nelson what the f**k? First you film a white person saying the n word and put it on Instagram and now you are bopping along with R Kelly after what has just happened? Shame on you... I'm done with you, CANCELLED. You just ruin LM's reputation too. Bye sis.'

'LMAO AS IF WE NEEDED ANOTHER REASON TO CANCEL JESY NELSON,' wrote a third disgruntled fan, who also shared the footage in question.
In the midst of the furore, a large number of Little Mix devotees jumped to Jesy's defence, insisting that her critics were being far too harsh.
'Jesy gets backlash for literally anything just leave her alone let her do what she wants mind your own f***ing business,' wrote one.
'Haters gonna hate but I love you so much Jesy,' tweeted another, while a third simply insisted: 'Jesy Nelson did nothing wrong.'
The video remained live in Jesy's Instagram Stories feed for more than 12 hours, before it was eventually deleted on Sunday afternoon.

Six-part documentary Surviving R Kelly claims the star lured teenagers at the mall and at outside their schools, eventually holding them captive.
He is alleged to have used forged documents so he could marry fellow musician Aaliyah when she was aged just 15 and he was 27.
Police in Georgia have contacted several women since the documentary was broadcast, TMZ has reported.

On Friday morning, R Kelly got a surprise visit to his Trump Tower residence from officers with the Chicago Police Department.
Since the airing of the documentary, there have been calls for radio stations to stop playing his music, and for his planned shows to be blocked.
It is not clear if Jesy was aware of the renewed international conversation about the allegations against Kelly at the time she enjoyed her night out.

Little Mix, Rita Ora, Rudimental, Calvin Harris, Jess Glynne and Tom Walker all received two nominations each for the prestigious awards while other performers given recognition include Liam Payne, Ariana Grande, Camilla Cabello, Drake, Cardi B. and Eminem.
Nominated for British Group and British Video, Jesy revealed what the BRITs mean to the girl band.
She said: 'I actually never thought it would happen. It was such a big dream of ours to perform at the BRITs [in 2017].
'And then I remember when we found out we were performing, we all cried. Like literally cried our eyes out cause we didn’t believe it was real.'
This year's BRIT awards will take place in London's O2 Arena on February 20 with Jack Whitehall serving as host for the second year in a row.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
