«Breaking News» Kevin Hart asks for understanding in message about growth and learning

Just a day after his controversial interview with Ellen DeGeneres, comedian Kevin Hart has posted a message about growth and learning.

The 39-year-old comedian shared a photo that featured a number of examples of how people in various fields have to 'learn' to be great.

The last sentence said that a journalist 'does not start at the top....they have to LEARN to be great,' which may have been a veiled response to criticism over his interview.

'When did we get to the point where we forgot that we all learn, then we all have the ability to grow and with that growth comes a wealth of knowledge,' Hart said in the Instagram post's caption.

You can’t change without a understanding of what GROWTH means. #Message #LiveLoveLaugh.....Please grasp this and use it in 2019,' Hart concluded.

Hart didn't comment any further, but he has come under fire from prominent journalists like CNN's Don Lemon, which may be what the photo may be aimed at.

Hart on Ellen: 'When did we get to the point where we forgot that we all learn, then we all have the ability to grow and with that growth comes a wealth of knowledge,' Hart said in the Instagram post's caption

After Hart's interview on Friday, Don Lemon, an openly gay news anchor, criticized the interview, stating that Hart should be listening to the LGBTQ community.

'Kevin, if anything this is the time to hear other people out, to hear why they might have been offended,' Lemon said.

'I don’t see any meaningful outreach to the community…. and now you want the conversation to end,' Lemon added.

'To many they (apologies) seem insincere, and that he has somehow turned himself into a victim instead of acknowledging the real victims of violent and sometimes deadly homophobia,' Lemon said.

'Walking away right now, that is your choice, but many of us need to keep the conversation going, Lemon added. 'It’s life or death.' 

'Someone like Kevin Hart can be a leader — the ultimate change agent — he can help change homophobia in the black community.'

DeGeneres, a trailblazing member of the LGBTQ community herself, defended Hart and even contacted the Academy to try and get Hart to return as host.

Hart was named as the 91st Oscars host in December, but stepped down after the Academy asked him to apologize for insensitive tweets, and he refused to do so.

Hart acknowledged during the interview that he is 'evaluating' a possible return as the Oscar host, with no host still named just under two months before the February 24 telecast.

After his interview with Ellen it's now rumored that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences may re-consider Hart as the Oscar host.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
