Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard says she has decided to run for president and will hold a formal announcement within the next week.
Gabbard, 37, who hasn't hesitated to criticize her party on international and domestic issues, revealed her decision on CNN's 'Van Jones Show.'
'I have decided to run and will be making a formal announcement within the next week," she said on the show, which airs Saturday.
The Iraq War vet was a vice chair of the Democratic committee, but left the post in protest of perceived bias in favor of Hillary Clinton. She ended up being a backer of Sen. Bernie Sanders in his unsuccessful effort to challenger Clinton from the left.

Sanders is considering his own 2020 run, in a field that has already drawn Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and other candidates.
"There are a lot of reasons for me to make this decision. There are a lot of challenges that are facing the American people that I'm concerned about and that I want to help solve," she said. "There is one main issue that is central to the rest, and that is the issue of war and peace.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
