«Breaking News» Family forced to sit on the FLOOR of plane after discovering their seats didn't exist

A family were forced to sit on the floor for their two-hour TUI flight to Menorca after discovering their seats didn't exist.

The Taylor family, arrived early at the airport to get their allocated seats after a family holiday in Menorca as they all wanted to sit together on the flight back to Birmingham.

They were given seats 41 D, E and F, but when they boarded the TUI plane in June last year, under the numbers was just empty space, rather than seating.

Paula Taylor, from Alcester, Warwickshire, told BBC One's Rip-Off Britain, Holidays: 'It's hard and it's uncomfortable and it's just filthy.

'We just couldn't believe it when we realised that there genuinely weren't any seats for us.'

The solution proposed by the airline was that for take off and landing Paula's daughter Brooke, 10, would take the last spare seat on the plane.

And her husband Ian, 55 and Mrs Taylor, would sit on two spare flip-up seats.

But while the plane was airborne, flight attendants had to get access to food for other passengers.

This meant both Paula and Ian were forced to sit on the floor, and daughter Brooke joined them, as she did not want to sit with strangers.

The family were offered £30 by TUI as a 'goodwill gesture.'

TUI airlines said a 'last minute aircraft change' caused the issue.

The company also offered a full refund for the family's £1,300 flights.

The Civil Aviation Authority said passengers are not allowed to be left unseated at any stage of a flight.

They have contacted TUI for an explanation about why the family were left sitting on the floor for the two-hour flight.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
