«Breaking News» Donald Trump Jr and CNN host Jake Tapper get into VERY tetchy Twitter argument

BuzzFeed's bombshell report has riled up a Twitter war between Donald Trump Jr and CNN reporter Jake Tapper. 

'Maybe the left will one day stop trying desperately to destroy my family and especially @realDonaldTrump. Till then they will keep failing miserably while also undermining themselves and our democracy,' the president's 41-year-old son tweeted on Saturday. 

Don Jr mercilessly attacked news outlets sharing the controversial BuzzFeed piece that alleges Trump directed his personal lawyer Michael Cohen to lie about dealings with Russia before Congress on Twitter.

Donald Trump Jr, 41, and Jake Tapper, 49, got into a Twitter war Friday night after CNN covered BuzzFeed's bombshell report that alleged President Donald Trump forced his lawyer to lie before Congress about deals with Russia 

Retract it! Don Jr demanded CNN retract the story and devote time to clearing the air about the BuzzFeed report he deemed '#fakenews'

On Friday he hit out at CNN for reporting on the piece, which Robert Mueller's office dismissed as 'inaccurate' Friday night. 

'I ask is that CNN gives equal time to the retraction.... (um obliteration you got hit with from Special Counsels Office) that you gave to the #fakenews part of the story you all so desperately wanted to be true. Seems fair, right?' he tweeted.  

Tapper, the Chief Washington Correspondent for CNN, defended CNN's report on the controversial article saying they expressed skepticism over the piece and didn't take it as truth.

Twitter war: The two went back and forth with Don Jr accusing Tapper of leading fake news and Tapper saying its the media's job to cover the president, the White House and Congressional leaders

'And this right here is exactly what's wrong with CNN and the rest of the #FakeNews media. If you're skeptical about the accuracy of a story, how about NOT giving it non-stop, wall to wall coverage on your network? You just can't help yourselves!!!' Don Jr wrote. 

Tapper clapped back explaining it is simply the role of news to cover what's happening in politics, controversial or not. 

'Your father, the White House and congressional leaders were talking about it and reacting to it so of course we covered it,' Tapper wrote.  

Don Jr fired back saying 'you'd be more credible if CNN's two biggest bombshells about me had any merit at all'

Leave us alone! Don Jr reiterated his sentiments on Saturday saying 'maybe the left will one day stop trying desperately to destroy my family'

'Given the many lies you told the American people about the meeting at Trump Tower I don’t really care to be lectured about anything by you,' he added. 

The duo continued to fire back their rebuttals with Don Jr pointing past flawed CNN reporting. 

'You’d be much more credible if CNN’s two biggest bombshells about me had any merit at all. Your network ran with them with glee but they were both total cr**!' Don Jr said. 

'1) The date of my @wikileaks info receipt  2) Lanny Davis admitting he was your source & was wrong (still not corrected)' he added.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
