Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Allen Hurns was carted off the field after sustaining a gruesome left ankle injury in the first quarter of Saturday's playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Hurns was being dragged down by Seahawks safety Bradley McDougald at the end of a 14-yard catch for a first down when his lower left leg appeared to buckle.
His foot was wrenched unnaturally to the outside in an apparent dislocation or break.
The 27-year-old writhed in pain on the turf as seven or eight medical personnel rushed out to immobilize his leg.

Tears streamed down his face when he was loaded onto a stretcher and carted off the field.
Several players from both teams crowded around the stretcher as Hurns was wheeled off.
Hurns held up his left fist as the crowd cheered while the cart was driven off the field.
He later underwent surgery for his broken ankle.

The Cowboys signed Hurns as a free agent in the offseason after waiving franchise career touchdown catches leader Dez Bryant in a cost-cutting move.
With the catch against the Seahawks, Hurns had 21 catches for 309 yards with two touchdowns this season.
The Cowboys' receiving corps was already hobbled, with Cole Beasley leaving briefly in the first quarter with an ankle injury.
Beasley soon returned, but was seen limping heavily on the ankle.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
