President Donald Trump thanked the California firefighters for their 'courage' during a press conference on Tuesday just days after they blasted him from his initial response to the deadly wildfires.
'We mourn for the lives lost and we pray for the victims of the California Wildfires,' the president said on Tuesday during a gathering for the Diwali holiday.
'I want to thank the Firefighters and First Responders for their incredible courage in the face of grave danger,' Trump said.
His remarks came just hours before the death toll from the California wildfires climbed to 50, making the Camp Fire the deadliest in United States history.

'We mourn for the lives lost and we pray for the victims of the California Wildfires,' the president said on Tuesday during a gathering for the Diwali holiday
On Monday, the president approved a Major Disaster Declaration for California to help 'alleviate some of the suffering going on' due to the deadly wildfires.
'Wanted to respond quickly in order to alleviate some of the incredible suffering going on,' the president tweeted Monday evening.
'I am with you all the way. God Bless all of the victims and families affected,' he added.
His remarks on both Monday and Tuesday come just days after he was criticized for his initial response to the wildfires.
'There is no reason for these massive, deadly and costly forest fires in California except that forest management is so poor,' Trump said in a series of tweets.
'Billions of dollars are given each year, with so many lives lost, all because of gross mismanagement of the forests. Remedy now, or no more Fed payments!'

The president followed up that tweet with another: 'With proper Forest Management, we can stop the devastation constantly going on in California. Get Smart!'
Following those tweets, the California Professional Firefighters issued a statement in response.
The organization's president, Brian K. Rice said in the statement that Trump's tweets 'attacking California and threatening to withhold aid to the victims of the cataclysmic fires is Ill-informed, ill-timed and demeaning to those who are suffering as well as the men and women on the front lines'.
'At a time when our every effort should be focused on vanquishing the destructive fires and helping the victims, the president has chosen instead to issue an uninformed political threat aimed squarely at the innocent victims of these cataclysmic fires,' Rice said.
Rice said Trump's initial remarks were a 'shameful attack on California' and on 'all our courageous men and women on the front lines'.
'At this moment, thousands of our brother and sister firefighters are putting their lives on the line to protect the lives and property of thousands. Some of them are doing so even as their own homes lay in ruins,' Rice added.

Harold Schaitberger, the General President of the International Association of Fire Fighters, also criticized Trump's comments on Saturday.
Schaitberger said in a statement that Trump's remarks were 'irresponsible, reckless and insulting'.
'The early moments of fires such as these are a critical time, when lives are lost, entire communities are wiped off the map and our members are injured or killed trying to stop these monstrous wildfires,' Schaitberger said.
'To minimize the crucial, life-saving work being done and to make crass suggestions such as cutting off funding during a time of crisis shows a troubling lack of real comprehension about the disaster at hand and the dangerous job our fire fighters do.'

'This is an absolutely heartless response. There aren’t even politics involved. Just good American families losing their homes as you tweet, evacuating into shelters,' Perry tweeted.
She was followed by Legend, who tweeted: 'Our National Embarrassment can't bring himself to show some empathy to Californians dealing with a horrific disaster.'
Rose responded to Trump by calling the president a 'demented n’ truly pathetic individual'.

The death toll in Paradise alone is now 48.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
