«Breaking News» X Factor: Ayda Field exudes glamour in Art-Deco sequinned gown

She is once again sitting on the panel without husband Robbie Williams.

And Ayda Field pulled out all the stops as she led the judging panel out on The X Factor's Big Band Week on Saturday.

The actress, 39, looked sensational in a stylish wraparound black and silver Art-Deco style gown as she walked out with judges Louis Tomlinson, Simon Cowell, and stand-in mentor Nile Rodgers on Saturday.

The shimmering gown featured a sweeping panel of silver sequins , cascading down the flowing skirt.

The glittering skirt flashed the star's toned legs courtesy of a thigh-high split while she boosted her height with silver sandals.

Her blonde tresses were styled in soft waves, parted in the middle while her pretty features were enhanced with smoky shadow, peachy blush and a slick of berry lipstick.

It came as Ayda struggled to hold back tears on Saturday after watching Danny Tetley's sensational performance, showering him with praise for his rendition of Frank Sinatra's My Way.

After the other three judges offered a glowing critique, Ayda said Danny's emotional performance had reminded her of her late father, who passed away of a heart attack in 2014.

She said: 'Danny I know you love me, but I love you more. I know my dad is up in heaven and he's picking up that phone for you.

'And I hope all of Bradford, all of the UK picks up the phone for you because you had the moment of the show and I'm so proud of you.'

Ayda was then tenderly embraced by Danny, as she emotionally reflected on her father's passing, which came just a few years after the pair had reconciled.

The eight remaining X Factor acts took to the stage for Big Band Week on Saturday.

In Simon Cowell's Girls category, Bella Penfold will perform Strong by London Grammar.

Scarlett Lee will perform Can't Take My Eyes Off You by Frankie Valli.

Shan Ako will perform Summertime by Billie Holiday.

Robbie Williams' last remaining group Acacia & Aaliyah will sing original song Act Our Age (Original).

Ayda Field's Over category will see Danny Tetley perform  My Way by Frank Sinatra.

And Louis Tomlinson's Boys category will see Anthony Russell perform Beyond The Sea by Bobby Darin.

Sequins are fast becoming the trend of the season, so it was no surprise that Ayda Field stepped out in a stunning shimmery gown on X Factor this evening.

Those who know there sequins, would have automatically recognised Ayda’s dress as Balmain. The fashion house has dressed Kim Kardashian and Hailey Baldwin amongst many others, and this isn’t the first time we’ve seen in Ayda in the brand either!

We adore the grey and black colourway and with a front slit and all-over sequin embellishment, this will allow you to shine like a diamond.

This is definitely an investment piece, and will put you back a whopping £5824, but click right to find it at Farfetch.

Brendan Murray -will sing Say Something by A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera

Dalton Harris will perform Listen by Beyonce

Robbie Williams will miss his third week of the X Factor live shows - with the star due to play a show in Mexico City at the Corona Capital Festival on Saturday.

He will be replaced for the third time by Chic Legend Nile Rodgers, as the She's The One singer attempts to save his final act in the competition, Acacia and Aaliyah.

A source told The Mirror Robbie has been FaceTiming his acts all week, as well as speaking to Nile in a bid to keep his act in.

They said: 'Robbie has had a run of bad luck since he's been away.

'With Nile standing in for him again this weekend, he called him up to stress how high the stakes are.

'He knows Nile is fantastic, but he doesn't want to find himself the first one out of the show. He's also spent ages FaceTiming the girls and rebuilding their confidence.'

MailOnline contacted reps for The X Factor and Robbie for comment.

Misunderstood and Giovanni Spano have been eliminated from The X Factor 2018.

The musical duo received the least votes following Saturday's Movie Week while Gio lost out to Acacia & Aaliyah in the sing-off, to the shock and outrage of viewers at home.

It comes as Gio lost out despite choosing to perform one of judge Robbie Williams' biggest singles, while Misunderstood's departure left just one group in the competition.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
