«Breaking News» Verne Troyer's estate 'billed for more than $360k by hospital' following death

He passed away back on April 21 after three weeks in the hospital.

And now Austin Powers star Verne Troyer's estate has been billed by the same medical facility. 

According to TMZ, Valley Presbyterian Hospital recently presented the estate with an invoice for $364,797.05.

The outlet also notes that creditors only have a limited time to file and collect debts following an individual's death.

Back in October, the death of the actor was ruled a suicide.

Troyer died from suicide via alcohol intoxication, according to the Los Angeles County Department Medical Examiner-Cornor's office as reported by People.

The actor was rushed to a hospital with possible alcohol poisoning in early April, and then passed away about three weeks later on April 21. He was 49.

Tests showed, Troyer consumed about three times the legal limit of alcohol before he was taken to the hospital.

A friend told police and paramedic dispatchers at the time that he appeared to be very upset, drunk and suicidal. 

'Verne was an extremely caring individual. He wanted to make everyone smile, be happy, and laugh. Anybody in need, he would help to any extent possible,' a statement on his Instagram read started shortly after his death. 

'Over the years he's struggled and won, struggled and won, struggled and fought some more, but unfortunately this time was too much.'

The actor was hospitalized for alcohol addiction in April of 2017.

'I've been hearing from some concerned fans, so I'd like to address a very personal situation,' Troyer said in a statement to PEOPLE at the time. 'As you know, I've battled alcohol addiction in the past and while it's not always been an easy fight, I'm willing to continue my fight day by day.' 

Troyer was born with achondroplasia dwarfism, which caused him to stop growing at 2ft 8in.  

Austin Powers star Mike Myers called Troyer a 'consummate professional and a beacon of positivity' in a statement he issued after the actor's passing.

'It is a sad day, but I hope he is in a better place,' Myers said. 'He will be greatly missed.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
