«Breaking News» Penny Lancaster has piled on TWO STONE since having kids

Penny Lancaster revealed she has piled on two stone since having children.

The 47-year-old, who has two sons with husband Rod Stewart - Aiden, seven, and Alastair, 12 - explained that she has a 'ravenous appetite' and gets 'distressed' over her weight loss struggle.

During an appearance on Loose Women on Friday, Penny said her concerned rocker beau, 73, will encourage her to 'go for a run' to help her feel better about herself.

Penny explained that she was bullied for being skinny in school and desperately 'gorged' on food to put on weight - something that backfired when her metabolism slowed in her 40s.

'I'm 30 pounds heavier than before I had children,' Penny, who is now a size 14 to 16, said.

The 6ft 1in model said: 'When I was at school, I was bullied about being tall and skinny so I used to wear three pairs of tights to make my legs look fatter.

'And I used to gorge. I used to eat the packed lunch she made me, then I used to use my pocket money for school lunch. I used to eat as much as I could so I could get fat.'

Penny went on: 'When I hit 40ish the pounds started going on. I have a ravenous appetite I can’t stop eating.

'When the kids were eating I would go “Oh, are you finished darling?” and have a bit of that [their food].

'I was still in this habit of eating and now I’m piling on the pounds and I’m finding it very difficult to shed them.'

Penny revealed that her lack of confidence with her weight has sparked concern from Rod, who she married in 2007.

'If he saw I was getting distressed, Rod would say "I love you just the way you are, if it's upsetting you why don't we go for a run?" He will be helpful to make me feel better about myself.'

Penny previously complained about having 'bra fat' and declared that she never uses the scales since her weight gain.

'I ignore that scales exist,' she admitted on Loose Women last year: 'When I was modelling it was all about losing weight trying to beat all the scales all the time.

'I've got the bra fat... it's hair and make-up and because i'm 6ft 1 it covers it up. But I have put on two stone since I've had my last child'.

But despite being comfortable with her body, she admitted she was keen to get back in the gym.

'I want someone to say "Oh Penny you've been on a bit... because then I'd be able to motivate myself",' she admitted.

'But I can get away with it, I've got broad shoulders and I wear the right clothes. I read an article that said follow penny's fitness regime she works out five times a week, I don't!

'I’m proud of wearing a 14-16, sizes don’t bother me. I’m not going to lie about it. I prefer to buy a size bigger, then I look small for the clothes,' the mother-of-two concluded.

Meanwhile, Rod was recently left red-faced when he was asked about cheating on Penny.

He was played a throwback video on Loose Women of Penny, 47, when she spoke about when she first started dating the crooner but found a photograph of him with another woman.

Penny said: 'He tried tell me it was one his daughter’s friends but I knew it wasn't and  gave him an ultimatum there and then'.

She added: 'I told him I don't want to be a girlfriend. I want to be THE girlfriend.'

Rod said: 'She's had me under the thumb since then. There was just that one dalliance and we've been together ever since.'

The couple appeared inseparable on the show, where they also spoke about undergoing IVF for their youngest, Aiden, seven.

The British rocker - who in total is a proud dad of eight children - also admitted that it was terrific having children of all different ages, because it kept him a 'kid at heart.'

Speaking of his two youngest who he shares with Penny, Rod gushed: ‘They're all adorable, the seven and twelve year old really take up a lot of my time - that's why I've got my injured foot!'

Touching upon his full brood, he admitted: 'They are of different ages, all the way from the 20s to the 30s. It keeps me a kid as well at heart.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
