«Breaking News» Downton Abbey stars Joanne Froggatt and Sophie McShera look VERY worse for wear

Downton Abbey stars Joanne Froggatt and Sophie McShera looked a tad worse for wear as they left the wrap party for the drama's film adaptation.

The actresses, who play maid Anna Bates and assistant cook Daisy Mason in the ITV series-turned-movie, appeared seriously bleary-eyed as they celebrated the end of filming.

Joanne, 38, and Sophie, 33, clung to each other as they stumbled out of Union Members' Club and headed to celebrity hotspot Soho House in London on Friday evening.

The stars appeared to have built up a great bond on set, and put on a tactile display with each other during the night.

The giddy duo held hands as they left nightclub and hugged sweetly outside it, before wrapping their arms around each other as they walked down the street.

Joanne looked every inch the budding beauty in a rose-print maxidress with a plunging neckline and a wrap skirt.

The Liar actress injected a dose of rocker cool to the look with a chic leather jacket and carried her belongings in a crossbody bag.

Sophie, meanwhile, kept things chic in a utilitarian denim jumpsuit that cinched in her trim waist with a tie-belt.

The brunette beauty added a pop of colour to her androgynous look with a pair of vibrant fuchsia pumps.

Styling her glossy dark tresses in a sleek side-parting, she framed her features with minimal make-up.

The new film's plot has been kept heavily under wraps, but a majority of the original series' cast are expected to reprise their roles.

Filming took place at the original Downton Abbey - Highclere Castle in Hampshire.

It kicked off in September, after it was confirmed the film had finally been green-lit following years of speculation.

Michelle Dockery took to Instagram to post her first snap from on-set for the drama, sharing an image of a clapperboard on set along with the words: 'And... we're off'.

Matthew Goode, who plays Lady Mary's husband Henry Talbot, has also revealed that he will have a role in the film, albeit a short one as he said he's just 'popping in' due to conflicting work commitments.

Allen Leach, Imelda Staunton, Geraldine James, Simon Jones, and Stephen Campbell Moore are among the new additions to the cast.

The film is expected to pick up right where the series came to an end, on New Year's Eve 1925, with the residents and staff of Downton the picture of happiness.

Lady Mary had just revealed to Henry that she was pregnant with his child, but a lack of baby bump on-set hints that the film will either carry straight on, or pick up more than nine months later.

Meanwhile Tom had gone into an automobile business with Harry, Lady Edith finally married Herbert (Bertie) Palham, and John and Anna Bates were overjoyed to welcome a baby boy.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
