«Breaking News» Brooklyn-born actress Lisa Seagram has died aged 82 after nine-year battle with dementia

Actress Lisa Seagram, famous for her TV roles in Batman, The Beverly Hillbillies, Bewitched and Burke's Law in the 1960s, has died aged 82.


The star, who'd battled with dementia for nine years, passed on February 1 at a care home in Burbank, California, her daughter Chela Fiorini told The Hollywood Reporter.


Seagram was best known for playing Lila, the attractive red head on the third season of ABC's Batman.

She also appeared as Edythe Brewster - the wife of Frank Wilcox's John Brewster on CBS's The Beverly Hillbillies.


The daughter of a NYPD detective, she was born on July 7, 1936 in Brooklyn, where she worked as a graphic designer and part-time model in New York's garment district. 


She then began studying acting under Paul Mann and Uta Hagen. She studied drama for three years, which led to a small role in Shadows (1959).

After retiring from acting, Seagram first sold commercial real estate. In the 1980s, she created Actors 2000, teaching acting in Hawaii. She later moved the school to Los Angeles.


Seagram went on to appear in popular TV shows such as ABC's Bewitched, My Three Sons, My Favorite Martian, The Double Life of Henry Phyfe, Perry Mason, McHale's Navy, Honey West and The Girl From U.N.C.L.E.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
