A man known as the 'pi**-artist photographer' is now the owner of a piece of Donald Trump's wedding cake.
Andres Serrano, who is known for using his own urine for his work, purchased the cake layer last week at an auction in Boston.
Serrano, 68, bought the chocolate truffle cake with gold flakes for $1,880.
The individual miniature cakes were served to guests in lieu of slices of Donald and Melania's $50,000 wedding cake which, due to its elaborate wire supports, made it impossible to serve to guests.
According to RR Auction, the 'sought-after souvenir wedding cake' measures approximately 3.25inches in diameter and three inches in height.

Serrano (left with his wife, Irina) is now among several A-listers who got a slice of the cake, including Shaquille O'Neal, Heidi Klum, Anna Wintour, P. Diddy and Hillary Clinton
'This individual chocolate truffle cake with single sugar-spun buttercream rose and gold flakes was presented as a wedding favor to be taken home by one of the nearly 350 guests,' during Trump's lavish 2005 wedding to Melania at his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida.

The auction site said the cake is still housed in its original off-white paper box, which is 'monogrammed in gilt, "M D T."'
'The box is in very good condition, with scattered stains and back of top cover cut along edges for a custom flap,' the auction site read.
The 14-year-old cake was inspired by the ceremony’s actual seven-tier wedding cake, 'a $50,000 masterwork of baker’s confectionary'.

According to the auction site, the wedding cake was a 200-pound yellow sponge cake flavored with orange zest, filled with butter cream, soaked in Grand Marnier, and adorned with 2,000 individually constructed sugar-spun flowers.
The centerpiece cake was not served to guests due to the intricate wire infrastructure.
RR Auction set the minimum bid at $200. In 2017, the item was previously auctioned off by Julien's Auctions, which collected $2,240.
According to Vanity Fair, Serrano and his wife, Irina, picked up their winnings in person last week.
Serrano didn't reveal his exact plans nor did he say when the work of art will be revealed to the public.
'I’ve got something on my mind and it’s much more than cake!' Serrano said.

In 2011, one of Serrano's controversial pieces, which showed a crucifix bathed in urine was vandalized in a gallery in southern France.
At the time, 800 protesters held a demonstration against it.
Serrano's work was called the 'Piss Christ' and was supposed to make a statement about the misuse of religion.
But when the part taxpayer-funded 1987 piece - which has also been described as 'blasphemous' - first went on display in the US it was so controversial that it sparked a fierce debate about whether art should be publicly funded at all.
The work of art earned the photographer his epithet.

The series featured every day Americans, including postal workers, firefighters, housekeepers and officers.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
