«Breaking News» Two conmen craps players are banned from Las Vegas casinos after scamming Bellagio for $1.2million

Two conmen have been banned for life from entering casinos after netting more than $1million in a craps scheme from the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Anthony Grant Granito and James Russell Cooper became the 33rd and 34th persons to be put in Nevada's 'black book', meaning they are barred from entering any casino, after scamming the Bellagio for two years with two other men. 

Casino officials eventually caught on to the scheme in 2014 after noticing several bets that won despite 452 billion-to-one odds, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. 

The two craps players were convicted in 2016 and sentenced to prison on theft and cheating charges. 

Anthony Granito and James Cooper have been banned from all Nevada casinos after being involved in a four-man craps scheme and racking up $1.2million 

'The people in the black book are cheats or people with really, really notorious affiliations, meaning the mob,' Anthony Curtis, a former gambler who studies the industry, told KVVU. 

'The black book is the highest level of exclusion,' Curtis said.

The four men scammed the Bellagio between August 2012 and July 2014 and racked up $1.2million, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Granito and Cooper worked with Jeffrey Martin and Mark Branco who were also convicted in 2016. 

Branco worked as a craps dealer at the Bellagio and allegedly led the scheme. 

For their grand scam to work, Branco would need to be at the same table as Cooper.

Their plan involved a hop bet, which is a wager one places hoping that specific numbers would show up on the dice when it's rolled.

They were convicted in 2016 and sentenced to prison for theft and cheating after running their two-year scheme at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas strip 

As the craps dealer would toss the die, either Granito or Martin would mumble something that sounds like a hop bet. 

One of the dealers would then pay out as if they had correctly wagered on whatever the number appeared to be.

Cooper cooperated with authorities and explained how their scheme worked to a grand jury, the Review-Journal reported. 

The men would also make fair bets and lose thousands of dollars in an effort for their scam to look legitimate. 

Branco, who ran the scam, is still incarcerated while the other three men have been released on probation.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
