Federal agents arrested Anthony Jamel Ellison, who they say is responsible for the July kidnapping and pistol-whipping of rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine.
Ellison was arrested on November 6 and remains in a federal prison in Manhattan, where he is awaiting trial, according to TMZ.
The suspect was indicted by a grand jury on three charges, all of which he pleaded not guilty to.

Ellison was charged with one count of conspiracy to obstruct commerce by robbery, one count of obstructing commerce by robbery and one count of carrying a firearm to commit a crime.
Tekashi69 (real name Daniel Hernandez), 22, leaving music video shoot on July 22 when, at approximately 4 AM, he was dragged out of an SUV by three armed assailants and pistol-whipped, according to TMZ's original report.
He was then taken to his home, where they took over $750,000 in jewelry and over $15,000 in cash.

While two of the assailants made their way into the rapper's home, another stayed behind to watch him.
After the robbery, the rapper managed to open the backseat of the vehicle and jump out, flagging down a stranger and asking for help.
The rapper got into the stranger's car, as he called 911, before the driver asked him to get out at an intersection.

An ambulance ultimately came and took Tekashi69 to the hospital, where he was treated for his injuries.
Ellison was reportedly part of Tekashi69's management crew before he became famous, and he is also reportedly affiliated with the 9 Trey Bloods gang.
Tekashi69 also made headlines in September when his Brooklyn home was raided by federal agents, who found a gun on the premises, but the reason for the raid was not known.

Tekashi69 also had to avoid gunfire during a music video shoot with 50 Cent, which was interrupted when 11 gunshots were fired.
He also was arrested for allegedly choking a 16-year-old fan at Houston's Galleria Mall in January,

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
