«Breaking News» Shirley Ballas SLAMS 'nasty and disgusting' fans who have accused her of 'beef' towards Faye Tozer

She was met with opinionated feedback from Strictly Come Dancing fans at the weekend, claiming she had something against Steps star Faye Tozer.

And Shirley Ballas has hit back at these remarks via Twitter, branding some of them 'disgusting'.

Posting a saying by Lori Deschene - 'No matter what you do, someone will have something negative to say. Try not to take it personally. People judge and criticize other people's lives when they're not happy with their own. Follow your heart. Do what's right for you. It's great to consider how your choices will affect the people around you. Just know you don't need everyone's approval to be happy' - Shirley captioned it: 'I love this I was sent today.'

She added: 'After all the negative people and such nasty disgusting comments I received, I post this for anyone out there who has to deal with nasty people.

'Be kind caring and loving. I live by that. HATE is an awful trait.'

This comes after fans called the head judge, 58, out on Saturday's Strictly after they accused her of having 'bias comments' and even 'beef' towards contestant Faye.

The Steps singer, 42, appeared visibly stunned by Shirley's remarks as she suggested that other contestants were 'truly fighting' for the Blackpool live show position next week.

Faye gave an impressive and energetic jive routine to Reet Petite with her dance partner Giovanni Pernice. 

The routine was praised by Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and Darcey Bussell.

Yet Shirley appeared to be unimpressed by the performance and didn't hold back as she critiqued Faye.

She said: 'Well I think it was very confident and extremely capable. I think you are an outstanding dancer, I want to say that first.

'But we're now going into Blackpool week and most people are fighting, truly fighting, for the position - I think it lacks for me, changes of energy.'

Shirley was then met with a loud boo response from the audience, to which Bruno even shuffled away from her, she responded with: 'Give me a chance, I haven't finished yet!

'It lacks changes of energy and I expect a little bit more. I think that you can delve into the dynamic area a little bit, so that it hits a chord a little bit more, so that's my advice when you're moving into Blackpool - change the dynamics a little bit more...'

And Shirley's feelings towards the routine were further cemented when she scored them an eight, compared to her fellow judges' nine, nine and a ten.

However, despite the poor feedback from Shirley and the score, the dancing duo found themselves in second place on the leaderboard. 

Yet Shirley's comments didn't go unnoticed by viewers at home who took to Twitter to call out the judge.

One person said: '#Strictly WTF is Shirley on about with Faye’s jive?'

A different user put: 'Shirley please stop giving negative feedback disguised as constructive criticism with Faye Tozer #Strictly.'

Another show watcher commented: 'What the heck was Shirley on about?? Dynamic?? Whats her problem with @Faye_Tozer #Strictly.'

A different account put: 'Still can’t get over Shirley Ballas constant negativity for Faye every week. Tonight just proves there’s an issue. #biased #judging #Strictly #Faye.'

While another show watcher added: 'I know Shirley knows her stuff, but think she was overly harsh on Faye... #Strictly.'

Giovanni - Faye's pro partner - has also now said that he thinks Shirley should have worded her criticism differently.

The 28-year-old responded on It Takes Two: 'I accept what she said because she is a brilliant dancer and a brilliant teacher. She is a Latin Queen. So we just accept everything that she said.

'I think there are other ways to say the comments. But you know, we are going to fly to Blackpool next week. We are there. We're gonna be there fighting for our place...'

Following Giovanni's comments, show host Zoe Ball swiftly moved on, saying: 'But you are amazing, the two of you, you are phenomenal.'

Giovanni - who is current rehearsing his upcoming dance routine with the Tragedy singer - added: 'This is the most beautiful dance I have ever done on 'Strictly Come Dancing!'

This isn't the first time Shirley has been called out for her harsh comments and earlier on in the series fans were left stunned after she ripped into Karen Clifton's moves on the dance floor. 

Strictly Come Dancing continues on Sunday at 7:50pm on BBC One.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
