«Breaking News» NFL Network reporter Kimberly Jones leaves hospital two weeks after mystery near-death health scare

NFL Network reporter Kimberly Jones has been discharged from a Virginia hospital following a mysterious health scare that almost killed her. 

Jones posted an Instagram video Thursday announcing her release from Inova Fairfax Hospital following her two week stay in the heart and vascular unit. 

'The surgeons saved my life, against big odds,' she said. 'The nurses have been great, the techs have been great — everyone in this hospital has helped put me back together.'

Jones posted an Instagram video Thursday announcing her release from Inova Fairfax Hospital's heart and vascular unit and praising the staff who helped her recover

The 49-year-old has yet to release specific information about what the health scare was, but had posted a video from her hospital bed on Thanksgiving revealing her brush with death. 

'A week ago today, I almost died,' Jones said on Instagram. 'Great doctors saved my life — but that’s for another day.' 

On Thursday, Jones thanked the NFL Network for its support and said she hoped to be back in front of the camera soon.   

Numerous colleagues and other members of the media have publicly expressed their support for Jones, a well-known face in sports journalism.

She has been working for the network since 2012 after having covered the New York Giants and New York Yankees for WFAN in New York City.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
