«Breaking News» Missing 13-year-old North Carolina girl found in Oklahoma with 23-year-old man

A missing 13-year-old North Carolina girl has been found alive and safe more than 900 miles away from home. 

Aubrey Acree, of Mooresboro, was found in Checotah, Oklahoma with a 23-year-old man on Wednesday night - three days after her family reported her missing.

Jacob Gardea, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, is facing abduction charges in North Carolina. Additional charges could be pending.

The FBI said Aubrey's family has been notified and arrangements are being made to return her 'to her loved ones in North Carolina'. 

'Law enforcement is grateful to a keen eyewitness who helped begin our investigative process with a strong lead that brought us to this joyful outcome,' the FBI added in a statement. 

Family members had last seen Aubrey on Sunday night. She was reported missing on Monday.

Aubrey was found 900 miles away from her home in Moorseboro, North Carolina

A missing person alert sent out by the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office had an 'extreme' level of severity, meaning there was an 'extraordinary threat to life or property'. 

Authorities said Aubrey was believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, according to WSPA. 

An eyewitness reported seeing Aubrey get into a car with an unidentified person in Mooreseboro on Monday. 

Officials said the vehicle of interest was a white Subaru manufactured between 2005 and 2007.

After canvassing surveillance footage from local businesses, investigators were able to locate and identify an image of the exact vehicle. 

They located the vehicle in Checotah just before 11pm on Wednesday night. 

Those involved in the search included the FBI, the US Marshal's Service, US Department of Homeland Security, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles.

The FBI is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the case.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
