«Breaking News» Meghan Markle wears Safiyaa for the Royal Variety Performance

The Duchess of Sussex looked every inch the Hollywood star as she arrived for her Royal Variety Performance debut on Monday night.

Pregnant Meghan, 37, opted for a £895 sequin top and a £850 maxi skirt by Safiyaa - a London-based designer she first wore in Fiji last month - as she joined husband Prince Harry, 34, for the glittering charity event at the London Palladium.

The radiant royal, who is expecting her first child next spring, brought even more sparkle to her look with a glittery black and gold clutch and £7,000 diamond earrings from Canadian jewellery brand Birks.

Meghan was greeted in the theatre foyer by seven-year-old Darcie-Rae Moyse, of Berkshire, who presented her with a beautiful posy of winter blooms, before she made her way inside to meet the acts including Take That.

For the occasion, Meghan donned a dazzling bustier top with an asymmetric overlay peplum that skimmed over her blooming baby bump.

The top, covered in a bicolour leaf sequin, had a simple black strap added to give the mother-to-be more support during the high-profile outing.

She teamed the piece with a fitted black skirt, also from the designer. The high-waisted maxi was cut to flatter the Duchess' figure and featured a slight train.

The spectacular £1,095 outfit, by German-born designer Daniela Karnuts, was made in the same shade of blue as the Fijian flag.

Adding to the drama of tonight's look, Meghan plumped for a pair of £726 black high heeled pumps by go-to shoe brand Aquazzura.

She also carried a glittering black clutch that look strikingly similar to the Stella McCartney worn to a charity performance of Hamilton with Prince Harry in August.

The Duchess also recycled another part of her look: her £7,000 Snowstorm earrings by Birks, which she has worn on a number of previous occasions.

The 2.15ct diamond earrings are crafted in 18kt white gold and add sparkle to any outfit.

As the couple made their way down the line-up, both seemed delighted to meet the cast of Hamilton again, a few months after seeing the show on stage for the second time.

The cast members congratulated Meghan on her pregnancy. 'Thank you,' the Duchess smiled.

The Royal Variety Performance – a mixture of music, dance, singing and comedy - is held in aid of the Royal Variety Charity (RVC), of which The Queen is Patron.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
