«Breaking News» Kasey Chambers to be inducted into the ARIA Awards Hall of Fame

She's the country music sensation known for hits including Not Pretty Enough and A Million Tears. 

And now Kasey Chambers is set to be inducted into the ARIA Awards Hall of Fame.   

According to The Daily Telegraph, the 42-year-old is the youngest female artist to receive the top honour.

The awards ceremony is set to take place later this month on November 28.

Kasey - who has won 12 ARIAs throughout her career - told the publication that her children are 'really chuffed' at the feat. 

'I don't tell them about a lot of these awards because they don't know much about the industry but I told them about this one and they got it, they were really chuffed,' she said.

Kasey is mother to sons Talon, 16, Arlo, 11, and daughter Poet, seven.

The brunette added: 'Each night when I put the kids to bed we say two things we are grateful for and Arlo said he was grateful they are giving me this award because "it makes me feel really happy."

Reflecting on her 2002 hit Not Pretty Enough, Kasey said: 'What I thought might go against me, by being true to myself, is what created my success.'

Kasey is the daughter of country music singer Bill Chambers.

Meanwhile, Kasey was also 'chuffed' when Kylie Jenner and sister Kendall lip-synced to one of her hits back in June 2015.

At the time, Kasey invited Kylie on stage with her during her string of shows in the US.

She joked on the Kyle and Jackie O Show: 'I imagine that my crowds would go up a little bit if I do that.'

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
