«Breaking News» David Blaine cleared of 2004 rape after Scotland Yard drops case

Magician David Blaine will not face charges over allegations he raped a model in London in 2004, it was reported today.

The entertainer, 45, was interviewed under caution by Scotland Yard detectives after Natasha Prince complained to police last year.

Ms Prince claimed that the alleged attack happened after she met Blaine at the Wellington nightclub in Knightsbridge in June or July of 2004.

But the Met Police has today confirmed that it will take no further action over the claims, according to The Sun.

Speaking when the allegations first came to light, Blaine's lawyer, Marty Singer, insisted that the magician was innocent.

He said: 'My client vehemently denies that he raped or sexually assaulted any woman, ever, and he specifically denies raping a woman in 2004.

'If, in fact, there is any police investigation, my client will fully cooperate because he has nothing to hide.'

Ms Prince, now 35, waived her right to anonymity when she told The Daily Beast that Blaine had invited her to a party in London in 2004, when she was 21.

She claimed she joined him at the event and he later led her into a bedroom where she remembered nothing other than waking up during intercourse.

She said the experience was blurry and confusing.

Recalling the following day, she said: 'I was sitting in a makeup chair getting my makeup done, and thinking "What did I do last night? Did I have sex with David Blaine? But I didn't want to".'

Prince entered the modeling world when she was 15 and then full time at 18. She was on the cover of 25 different magazines before she ended her modeling career when she was 24.

She has appeared on the covers of German Vogue, French Elle, and Italian Glamour, among others, and was prominently featured in Louis Vuitton, Levi and Diesel campaigns.

Blaine gained huge notoriety after a trick in late 2003 called 'Above the Below,' during which he suspended himself 30 feet above the River Thames in London for 44 days, surviving on nothing but water.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.

Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
