Noel Edmonds is set to appear as the 11th campmate on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, after being signed up as a secret late addition.
The Deal Or No Deal host is said to be receiving a fee of more than £500,000 to take part in the ITV series - which will kick off on Sunday and the 69-year-old TV presenter is expected to be one of two late entries into the Australian jungle.
An ITV source told The Sun: Producers are talking about it as one of their best signings ever.
I'm A Celebrity: Noel Edmonds, 69, 'is set to appear as 11th contestant in shock twist... and he'll bag biggest cash fee of £500k following HBOS scandal'
'Bosses think he'll have loads of stories to tell and will be a great talker around the campfire.
'They've been desperately trying to keep him under wraps as he's the cherry on the top of the series for them.'
Noel is expected to head Down Under with another camp mate shortly after the launch on Sunday.
Busy man: The former Deal Or No Deal presenter is among dozens of small business owners demanding compensation for his treatment at the hands of HBOS bankers
MailOnline has contacted the dashing presenter for more information.
It's been a busy time for Noel as he was expected to visit Wandsworth prison to meet one of the men at the heart of the HBOS scandal as part of his legal investigation into the bank's activities, The Mail on Sunday revealed.
Information: Bancroft, 75, was locked up for ten years for his part in the HBOS Reading scandal
The former Deal Or No Deal presenter is among dozens of small business owners demanding compensation for his treatment at the hands of HBOS bankers.
The meeting, which was scheduled for October 22, will put Edmonds face to face with Michael Bancroft, who was jailed in February last year.
Edmonds believes Bancroft may be able to assist him as he prepares to launch a claim of up to £300 million against Lloyds Banking Group, the owner of HBOS, in London's High Court.
Bancroft, 75, was locked up for ten years for his part in the HBOS Reading scandal. He was sentenced alongside five others following a four-month trial at Southwark Crown Court.
He was convicted of conspiracy to corrupt, three counts of fraudulent trading and conspiracy to conceal criminal property.
Bancroft, who worked at Quayside Corporate Services (QCS) with David Mills, was found in court to have 'plundered' HBOS small businesses clients for fees and assets.
Jungle ready! EastEnders actress Rita Simons (L) and The Chase star Anne Hegerty (R) touched down at Brisbane Airport on Tuesday ahead of their jungle experience
Edmonds claims that an HBOS manager, Mark Dobson, who was jailed for four-and-a-half years, destroyed his entertainment business Unique Group.
Meanwhile, EastEnders' actress Rita Simons and The Chase star Anne Hegerty were both pictured touching down at Brisbane Airport on Tuesday ahead of their jungle experience.
Their arrival in Australia comes hot on the heels of DIY SOS' Nick Knowles, Corrie's Sair Khan and The Vamps' James McVey - who jetted into the country the day before.
Rita, 41, looked in high spirits as she appeared in arrivals, clad in a trendy camouflage puffer gilet and matching grey T-shirt.
Adding to her low-key vibe, the niece to billionaire businessman Lord Sugar opted for a black pair of leggings and some shiny silver trainers.
Rita, who was tragically killed off as her EastEnders' character Roxy Mitchell almost two years ago, decorated the look with a statement gold necklace and black reflective sunglasses, while keeping her bright pink locks in a messy ponytail.

Moments later, Chaser Anne, 60, looked raring to go as she wheeled her luggage through the arrivals terminal of the airport.
Sporting a casual style, The Governess - as she is known on the hit ITV quiz show - donned a brown T-shirt under a cosy black cardigan.
The television quiz personality teamed her look with light wash jeans and comfortable white sandals.
Meanwhile, Rita is reportedly hoping a stay in the Australian jungle will help with her insomnia and OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder), while also boosting her career options.

A source told the Sun: 'Obviously it will be hard for Rita to live in the jungle with her health problems but she's hoping that some time away from her hectic lifestyle will help and that it will also provide a career boost and hopefully lead to her landing another big TV part.'
The I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! 2018 line-up was finally revealed on Monday after months of speculation - with Emily Atack and Harry Redknapp confirmed for the jungle, and John Barrowman also making the star-studded list as a surprise addition.
Also joining the famous trio are The X Factor's Fleur East, DIY SOS' Nick Knowles, The Vamps' James McVey, Coronation Street's Sair Khan and Hollyoaks' Malique Thompson-Dwyer.
I'm A Celebrity is set to kick off on Sunday, with Declan Donnelly and Holly Willoughby hosting the show, after Ant McPartlin stepped down from all his TV commitments earlier this year following a stint in rehab, divorce and a hefty drink-driving fine.

Dec said he hand-picked Holly because he couldn't bear the thought of working with another man following Ant's personal woes.
He said: 'It is obviously tinged with sadness that Ant won’t be coming this year, I’m going to really miss him, but it’s only for one series and he’ll be back stronger next year,' he explained.
'I’m really grateful to Holly for stepping in and agreeing to come. I didn’t want to host this series with another guy so Holly was top of my list.'
I'm A Celebrity kicks off on Sunday 18 November at 9pm on ITV.

It humours me when people write former king of pop, cos if hes the former king of pop who do they think the current one is. Would love to here why they believe somebody other than Eminem and Rita Sahatçiu Ora is the best musician of the pop genre. In fact if they have half the achievements i would be suprised. 3 reasons why he will produce amazing shows. Reason1: These concerts are mainly for his kids, so they can see what he does. 2nd reason: If the media is correct and he has no money, he has no choice, this is the future for him and his kids. 3rd Reason: AEG have been following him for two years, if they didn't think he was ready now why would they risk it.
Emily Ratajkowski is a showman, on and off the stage. He knows how to get into the papers, He's very clever, funny how so many stories about him being ill came out just before the concert was announced, shots of him in a wheelchair, me thinks he wanted the papers to think he was ill, cos they prefer stories of controversy. Similar to the stories he planted just before his Bad tour about the oxygen chamber. Worked a treat lol. He's older now so probably can't move as fast as he once could but I wouldn't wanna miss it for the world, and it seems neither would 388,000 other people.
